i recieved a call on my cellphone by joe meyers #665. a rep from freedom resource. he told me about a benefits package that will build my credit and offer me many things such as dental to life insurance. all i had to do was give him my checking information and they would create a draft date. the offer sounded so good i gave it to him. 10/19/02 they took the money out.
i was suppose to 15-21 business days for the benefits package, 2-3 days for the cc to process. i called 11/15/02 @11:00 am and spoke to a c.s.rep named tammy. she stated that the company that did the printing ran out of ink and that the package was on backordered.
she told me to give them 2 weeks. 2-3 weeks went by and i called again. i asked for a supervisor and judy miller came on. i asked her why it was taking so slong and she gave me the same excuse as the one rep before. they ran out of ink and that everything was on backordered. i said a company that is suppossively so big
can't afford ink is bulllshit. i asked for a refund and she said that they would have to send out a refund request form and it would take 30 days after that.
i was upset about that because it was just waisting time. i said " can't i just write a letter requesting a refund." and she said, "no ma'am. if i up your cc amount $40 would you take it." i was like "excuse me. no. you just send that refund form and please read my adress to me so i know that you have the correct one." she laughed and said "no, you read it to me." as i was verifying my adddres, she laughed and hung up.
i received the refund form around the 10th of December and they said, "Freedom Resource warrants that their consumers are satisfied with membership. In the event that the consumer is unsatisfied with their membership of its' entitlements, Freedom Resource will refund the application fee less $24.95 administrative processing cost.
To receive the refund, the consumer must complete and return the attached form to Freedom Resource; this ensures the consumer's records are current and verifies return address." Who are they kidding, a $24.95 admin. process fee for what..they didn't have any ink to process the package. So I sent in the refund request form around the 20th of December. I called January 3rd, 2003 and they said that the just received the refund request on the 27th of December and that she didn't know when it was going to be processed and then we got disconnected.
Today, January 10th, 2003 at 2:00 pm, I called again to check up on the refund and spoke to a rep named Sue and she she said that she had to check with the refund department, she put me on hold and came back and wanted me to verify my name and address so I did. she stated that it won't be processed until March. I asked Sue what her supervisor's name was (cybil williams) and who she spoke to in the refund department and she just gave me the name Ms. Gray.
I asked to speak to her supervisor and she put me back on hold and then we got disconnected. I got very irritated and called them back..the rep that answered was rude..i asked to speak to a supervisor right away but the rep needed my phone number so I gave it to her, then she said that I was not in the system and asked for my tracking number..I gave it to her and she asked me to verify my name and address and i verified and she asked what
she can help me with and I said I need to speak to a supervisor because my issue has been going on long enough..she said all the supervisors were on calls now and that someone should give a call back later. I asked for the presidents name..Paul Isabelle. And then we got disconnected..please see what you can do for me.
