fridgidaire lowes very noisy, loud popping, lost food twice, mfg. & seller is NO HELP Internet

I bought std. auto. defrost top mount freezer-refrigerator model LFTR1814LW6 from Lowes, 2 yrs. ago.  Did not buy 'extended warranty'.  Upon complaints to the mfg. beginning in the first month, nothing was repaired, the mfg. considers the noise problems as normal.  I've lost 2 batches of food from improper internal temperatures. 

This unit I have we have dubbed our 'riding lawnmower in the kitchen', yes it is that noisy. 

The thing is consistently noisy also, the unit typically wakes me up every night at about 0145, continues to run until 0230, shuts down briefly for 0015 minutes while generating loud popping sounds, restarts and runs loudly for another 45 minutes.  This cycling occurs at least 8 times per 24hr. period.  The kwh of electrical use is at least triple of what is marked on the yellow consumer energy star rating. 

I actually believe the thing runs more than it is off.  The thing is properly leveled, door seals intact, and have cleaned the exterior cooling fan & fins frequently.  The problems with this unit has existed since day 1.  The mfg. has no recall in effect that I can find for this unit.

I suspect that uneconomical/problematic units are substituted at the point of sale, once the extended warranty is not purchaced, the quality control rejects are dumped to the customer to consume.
