Back in 2010, we got involved with Funding Resource Network. Right away, we had to give them $3000.00 for the start-up. Worked with these guys for over a year and a half, received paperwork from the IRS for the non-profit organization we were starting up.
They ended up getting another $6800.00 from us over that time period. We thought everything was alright because we were dealing with the IRS and receiving paperwork from them. However, in 2012 we tried to contact them to see how things were moving along, after all, they said we were approved for $80,000 and thought we were almost there. Their phones had been disconnected and were not able to contact them in any manner.
If there is anyone trying to located these people, I might have some information. There were wires from our bank to theirs, receipts for the initial start-up and an interesting email. We were working with a man named Mike Wilson, but I received an email one day where the last name was different. He might have made the mistake and used his personal computer to send the email, not sure.
I don't know how to pursue this. Even wrote to the Attorney General office. Something they don't handle so I was told.
