Furniture USA ripoff Corrupt and Criminal Clemmons North Carolina

Like many of the reports on this site, I too am a victim. My wife and I ordered a Lea bedroom set for my daughter on January 28,2004. We had to provide a 25% deposit which I provided by CC. We were told from our sales person Marsha Fulp, that we should expect delivery by mid - May. This delivery date was confirmed through e-mails sent to me every other week. ( what a scam to keep you going). Receiving my last e-mail on June 29, I deceided to contact Furniture USA by phone.

Unable to get a response, I e-mailed their customer service and my sales rep. Neither responded. Further research at the NC BBB web site, I was shocked to see that the BBB was monitoring the activity at their buisiness address on Aug 9th,10, and 11th.

Ultimatly, the BBB posted that the business has vacated the property.

Warren Dean , owner, should be brought up on criminal charges. The situation to me is the same as if he stole your wallet and should be held accountable.

I have filed a report with the BBB and NC State Attorney Generals Office. Everyone should do the same. Who knows, if enough people file complaints to the State , maybe something legal will be done.

This guy gave a bad name to the NC furniture industry. We always made purchases from NC but now I am skeptical. We re purchased the same Lea bedroom set for my daughter from a local retailer.
