 alton hyman is the security manager at CPCC in charlotte NC. and he is not or never has been a police officer. He does not know what its like to be an officer and neither has johnston and house. one day I worked over on first shift and hyman called out on the radio asking if I could meet him in front of the security office. I told him I was at overcash and would be there at 930. I thought he wanted to talk to me about something. when I pulled into the parking deck to park my patrol car, hyman started yelling at me. I got out of the car and he was yelling at me in front of other people saying " YOU DONT LISTEN!!!!", I told him I was going to park the car and meet him in front of the security office as he requested.

he said THATS RIGHT, I NEED A RIDE DOWNTOWN. Well I didnt know that, I just thought he wanted to talk to me about something, he never told me exactly what he wanted. He got in the patrol car and started yelling at the top of his lungs and I said Mr. Hyman please dont yell at me. He said I WILL YELL AT YOU AND ANY OTHER OFFICER I WNAT TO. YOU NEED TO TALK TO ME DIFFERENT. iwhat ever that means). He said he was not yelling and I told him he was yelling, or talking real loud and it hurt my ear. He yelled at me as I was driving him downtown and he forgot to tell me to turn and got even madder and yelled JUST STOP THE CAR!!!! I WILL GET OUT HERE AND WALK, STOP! STOP! STOP! I told him I had to get out of traffic so the other cars could get by.

I went to an auto accident and while I was there getting information johnston and house showed up and was telling me how to do a wreck report. I am an 18 year veteran and was a patrol sgt. for 7 years. I konw how to do an accident report. The two of them started writing down all the information and took over the call from me. I asked them if they were going to do the report and they said yes.

These people talk to you like you are dumb and have no respect for anyone. They are the ones that do not know what they are doing and they are creating an hostile work invironment. I was wrote up for insubordinatin for the way I was looking in my purse for a calander, because they were going to change my work days. The working schedule chages from hour to hour and from day to day.

So many Police Officers and Security personnel are leaving because of alton hyman. He treats them badly cursing them out in front of other people and yelling to the top of his lungs like a spoiled brat thats just got to have his way. He is the idiot.

I do not capitalize their names because they deserve no respect!! There is more things that have happened but I dont have time to lest it all. This is the worst job I have ever had in my entire life and I am 57 years olf. If I had known about this place before I took the job, I would not have taken it. No one should work at this miserable place where they treat you like a slave and talk to you like you are dumb. I did call corperate and filed a complaint, but I dont think its going to go anywhre. they dont give a d**n either.

I was never really good at pretending like Im stupid, so dont insult my intelligence by talking to me like I am stupid.
