These guys are not professional when it comes to dealing with the public!! I had traded some old games to receive a store credit of $15, then purchased a used Xbox 360 game for an additional ten dollars. I did not receive a receipt (which should have been the first red flag) When I asked about the return policy, the bald-headed clerk (my best guess at this point is Michael Connolly) said I could return it within seven days if there were any problems. He said he checked the discs personally and there was nothing wrong.

So I bring the game home, and one of the discs is skipping and will
not play. I went to clean the disc and noticed a piece of the disc layer seemed to be missing..So I bring it back the next day. The manager of the store (best guess that this is Kevin Connolly) brings the disc to the clerk/Michael. Kevin seemed to be subtly pissed at him. With this, the same bald-headed clerk begins to exclaim "It is cracked! It was not like that when I sold it! I swear! etc. etc." So at this point its my word against his. Kevin looks back at me, and tells me that he has to side with the clerk/Michael on this issue. Now this whole time, Michael is sitting back at his computer looking very nervous and will not make eye contact with me whatsoever, like he was scared or something.

So I went back and forth with Kevin since Michael did not seem to have the social skills to handle the situation, asking if there is anything he can do. Said he could do nothing and that was the way it was. He did not offer any sort of recourse. All he was able to do was tell me to check my XBOX 360 to see if that was causing the issue. I can safely say this is not the case as I have had my 360 since 2007. I have never gotten a red ring of death, and have never had any issues with any games that were not seriously scratched up!  So I am out $25, and all I have left to show for it is an expansion disc, which I was able to download from, luckily. But the main copy of the game would not play

I understand that 'cracks' happen, and there is no way to truly know how the disc got that way. Even a small crack could be imperceptible, but these guys did not seem to do their quality control like many other game stores in the area! And these guys made no effort whatsoever to resolve the situation. If it were my business I would have offered a small discount for a new game or something, like 5% or so. Whatever, just something. I would have been happy with any sort of compromise, and would have been willing to pay out of pocket if necessary. But nothing was offered. Maybe they were too anxious to get back to their World of Warcraft tournament or 2nd Life. These guys definitely seem to be of the geeky, socially-challenged variety, and do not seem to understand customer relations very well. Too bad for them. There are tons of games stores in the valley, and despite trying to be a 'vintage store', they are nothing close to offering anything unique in such a large metropolitan area.

BUYER BEWARE!! If you choose to deal with these guys, be prepared to deal with poor business practices. This company has amassed plenty of bad reviews that are floating around the web, and most of the good ones seem to be from their own employees!
