SEO Reputation Management at its best!

I submitted my EQ2 account for sale to gametag.com on 11/4/2011. As per the information on their website and in their emails to me, they promise approval of submissions within days. It has now been nearly a month and I still have not received payment.

Gametag sent me correspondence requesting my preferred method of payment, which was direct deposit to my bank account. I foolishly provided the information.

After providing the information and not hearing anything from Gametag for multiple days, I received an email informing me that their system "misquoted me" for my account, and they offered to pay me an adjusted price of nearly half of the originally quoted price. Keep in mind, this was after they had agreed to purchase and requested my bank account information.

Gametag will not reply to my email inquiries, and their online "chat" feature is always conveniently tied up. All email or chat inquiries inform me that I will be contacted within 1 to 24 hours. After several attempts I can guarantee that this is not the case.

I strongly discourage ANYBODY from using this website for their "services".

Their website promises users a fast and hassle free experience. This is nowhere near what I have experienced with them. I have received no service at all, I simply have been cheated out of my account.

I have read several of the posted complaints and subsequent responses here on this site regarding the same company. None of which sound the least bit professional. One even goes far enough as to spout off how "legit" their company is. A company who defends their reputation to people they have scammed by using a junior high student's cheapened vocabulary of slang is not one anyone should do business with. Use a more legitimate service.

False Report - The Seller (Author) Is Fraudulent. We Won't Purchase With Someone Who Intends To Defraud Our Company.

AUTHOR: CSR Agent - (USA)

This message is for Mr. Boyd:

I will note here that we are the buyer of this transaction

As a buyer, it is our right to make sure that the item we are purchasing is safe and secure as we provide services in a "gray" market. The item we are purchasing could potentially be resold to one of our customers, and if a seller (Mr. Boyd) is breaching his agreement and being extremely disrespectful prior to us executing his payment, then this is usually an early sign that the seller is not going to cooperate with us if an issue did occur later on after the completion of his payment.

The details provided below will show you that Mr. Boyd agreed to our terms and conditions, provided invalid bank account information which caused a delay on his payment, and then started breaching numerous parts of his agreement which he refused to cooperate in resolving these matters.

Timeline of Events
- On November 4, 2011, you agreed to our terms and conditions and submitted your account to our website. During this time, we informed you that there would be a delay on your account submission.

- On or around November 9, 2011, you provided the details to your bank account. The bank details then require 6 to 7 business days to verify through our bank before the transfer is completed.

- On November 20, 2011, his bank account information was rejected and our bank sent a notice to him. He had not updated this information until December 7.

- On December 7, 2011, Mr. Boyd provided us the bank account information (didn't he just say above that he foolishly provided us his bank account information 4 days before sending us the correct information?).

- On or around this time, we informed Mr. Boyd that he needs to resolve all outstanding issues including this complaint as he indirectly implied that we could be using his bank information.

- Initially Mr. Boyd refused to cooperate with us in this matter.

- We offered an exception to Mr. Boyd and offered a new agreement where we would send his payment to his PayPal Account and he could withdraw those funds to his bank account. Upon completion of his payment, he would then comply with his term and conditions which he was supposed to comply with prior to his payment.

- Mr. Boyd didn't want to cooperate with us, cut off all communication, stole back the account.

Your Response: I submitted my EQ2 account for sale to gametag.com on 11/4/2011. As per the information on their website and in their emails to me, they promise approval of submissions within days. It has now been nearly a month and I still have not received payment.

Our Response: See Above

Your Response: Gametag sent me correspondence requesting my preferred method of payment, which was direct deposit to my bank account. I foolishly provided the information.

Our Response:  Correct. You sent invalid bank account information which caused a delay on your payment. You stated that you foolishly provided us your bank information, but you didn't actually provide us the correct bank account information until 4 days AFTER you posted this report.

Your Response: After providing the information and not hearing anything from Gametag for  multiple days, I received an email informing me that their system "misquoted me" for my account, and they offered to pay me an adjusted  price of nearly half of the originally quoted price. Keep in mind, this was after they had agreed to purchase and requested my bank account information.

Our Response: Correct. Your account was missing multiple things that you had stated were on the account. A default e-mail was then sent to you but didn't contain the exact details. In this e-mail, we informed you that if you wish to deny this new quote, you may do so at anytime and we will return your account information. You decided to accept our quote so we proceeded.

Your Response: Gametag will not reply to my email inquiries, and their online "chat" feature is always conveniently tied up. All email orchat inquiries inform me that I will be contacted within 1 to 24 hours. After several attempts I can guarantee that this is not the case.

Our Response: Incorrect. We responded to you 13 times during the course of our communications. We will gladly attach screenshots with proof if you agree to waive your confidentiality rights.

Your Response: I strongly discourage ANYBODY from using this website for their"services".

Our Response: Every company has complaints. The difference is we go out of our way to "resolve" them which we have successfully done to all complaints against our company.

We defend our reputation because our job is to tell the truth. Legit companies are extremely difficult to find in our industry, and we separate ourselves from the rest by having "real" feedback unlike the rest.

We offer services for over 60+ games now and have the following positive review feedback:
- 4,000+ Feedback alone on Facebook in 14 months
- 4,000+ Feedback on Major Auction Sites
- 500+ Feedback on Major Forums
- 1,250+ Testimonials
- 18,000+ Feedback with PayPal
- + many more

Please go here for more information on our positive reviews:

Lastly, we are the only company that offers escrow services which you opted out of which would have secured your payment prior to this transaction.

Now we will admit that this transaction is one of the few percentage of transactions that didn't go smoothly, but our actions were all done according to normal procedure. Mr. Boyd refused to adjust to our needs, violated multiple parts of his agreement, and was extremely disrespectful in his replies to us. With the specific item we were purchasing. Mr. Boyd could potentially cause irreparable damage to our company after we executed his payment. If he refused to cooperate with us prior to his payment, we could only assume that he was going to refuse to cooperate after he received his payment.

Overall, the complaint should actually be about Mr. Boyd, not our company as all we were trying to do was buy an account from Mr. Boyd who came to us and he did everything he could to prevent that from happening.
