#1 UPDATE Employee

False Accusation: Customer (Mike Morris) Was Using Stolen Credit Cards To Make Purchases

AUTHOR: Customer Support - (United States of America)

Dear Mike Morris,

Timeline of Events

  • On February 4, 2011 at 1:02 PM EST, you placed an order with our company. During this time we requested verification on your order as the payment was for the amount of $562.80.

  • On February 5, 2011 at 6:42 AM EST, we received an e-mail from MoneyBookers informing us to hold on completing your delivery so they can review your payment as they considered this a high risk and would not provide us the funds you sent us until they completed their verification.

  • On February 5, 2011 at 8:50 PM EST, you provided us two facebook accounts as a form of verification of two different individuals. During this time we informed you we would now work on verifying your order and no more work was required on your end. We then waited for MoneyBookers to respond back to us.

  • On February 7, 2011 at 1:12 AM EST, Rosica at MoneyBookers e-mailed us back and informed us that the payment you sent us originated from a credit card fraud attempt and the actual credit card holder did not authorize this transaction. (proof attached below).

  • On February 7, 2011 at 9:14 AM EST, we informed MoneyBookers to refund this order.

False Accusation

  • You mention you paid by PayPal when you paid by MoneyBookers.

  • Tracey Broadhursts was the one who spent $562.80 on this order, not you.

  • The reason your order was not delivered is because you wanted us to process a $562.80 payment when you were using someone elses credit card which they reported stolen and informed MoneyBookers that they did not authorize the transaction. (proof attached below)

  • The cardholder was refunded with MoneyBookers.

Conclusion

The person that actually owned the credit card was refunded and she lost nothing.
