Received a letter from Gardson Research stating that I have been selected to be an "Undercover Customer Service Evaluator" along with a check in the amount of $1,524.44. Clearly, the check does not even meet the security features that are printed on the back.
In addition, the letter asks that I call Mark Thomas at 1-438-992-6582 for activation and authorization of the check before deposit. But the suspicious part is that after depositing the check they want you to turn around and withdraw $985 and go to a Western Union Store (whom you are supposedly evaluating for their customer service) and wire the "money in minutes" to the assigned receiving agent that "Mark Thomas" has provided you with.
And of course you only have 2 days to complete the assignments from the day you receive the invitation to be considered as a permanent undercover customer service evaluator. Even the envelope that it was mailed in has a different address (4358 Devon Drive, Windsor CA) than on the letter enclosed, which I might add was mailed out of Miami Fl.
