I purchased a Garmin for my bike and with in two month the bracket failed and the unit fell out breaking. I contacted the dealer and they told me they have had such a problem with these unit that I would need to go direct to the factory for a replacement. I contacted the factory and recieved such a run around. The Garmin factory knows there are problems with these unit but will not honor thier warranty.

Physical damage not covered under warranty.

As is clearly stated in the warranty, physical damage is not covered by warranty. It makes no difference how it happened. No company will cover a product under warranty if it has physical damage. Therefore, there is no warranty to honor.
