I will make this short as the whole story could take many pages:

This pertains to the "'GPS map76CSX" and I hope not all of Garmin's offerings.

Garmin GPS's are a freaking nightmare to install the maps on. I have had to do this 6 or 7 times and every single time it has become an 8 hour or more nightmare that always has required tech support. The latest trick they have pulled is the latest version of map source requires online code entering which is not working and they are closed for the weekend.

Try to install the previous version that did not require the online part and you find out that this version does not rollback/uninstall.

It never ever fails putting maps on a Garmin GPS is your worse night mare. Are you listening Garmin?
