In several discussions I had with Michael (who doesn't really know what his position is.  He says he's not a recruiter, just an "explainer."  BIG RED FLAG), he stated that you can become a certified inventory specialist by accompanying a certfied specialist on an assigment.  But you must use their equipment and forms (Sony video camera, iPad, etc).  They don't "charge" you for those.  All they want is $195 deposit, which will be refunded after you complete your 1st assignment.  GUESS WHAT? They never send you the forms and equipment.  They just keep your money.  I've called the Massachusettes Consumer Affairs Div, and the Office of Registry for Corporations/Businesses.  GHI is not licensed by the state with any agency.  And they are not lic'd by the City of Boston.

BIG RED FLAG:  According to Michael, they do biz with over 60 insurance companies.  Trust me - an insurance company would not do biz with an unlicesened company.  I asked Michael several basic questions, to which he did not know the answer. He suggested writing an email, asking those question.  So I did.  Asked simple questions like - What is the legal name of GHI?  Are they owned by another company - - and if they are - what's that company's legal name?  Who are the officers of the company? (Michael said he didn't know, but gave me a name saying this person was the owner.  But he didn't know how to contact him) Where are they licensed to do business?  And what is their license number ???  Do you think I've heard back from them ???

Other BIG RED FLAGS - who ever heard of a company asking for $195 deposit for equipment worth over $1000?  They'd be ripped off so badly - - Michael says they just take the chance.  Doesn't make sense.  He also said they have 300 specialists in my general area.  You're telling me they laid out all that equipment for only $195/person???  Again, doesn't make sense.

Another thing - they have the customer pay you. Then at the end of the week, you submit the co's 40% to them. Figuring you did 3 jobs at for $750 avg, that's $2250.  The co's 40% would equal $900.  And they just trust that everyone is going to send the co's share in - on time.  That insults my inteligence - and even theirs.  Anyone that's ever been in biz knows that would never happen.

In additon to all of this, just the lack of basic knowledge and supporting info that shows that they are a legit company is really scary.  RUN AWAY.  DO NOT SEND them ANY $$$$$.
