I received an e-mail from a woman named Gayle. I had responded to a job posting on craigslist. I was excited to see that she wrote back quickly (which is red flag number one) and she offered an OVER THE PHONE GROUP INTERVIEW. Now, I have been caught up in a scam before so I was very hesitant from this point on. Well, I went ahead and started the interview anyways, I mean it couldn't hurt. The recruiter kept saying "US, WE, OUR" diverting our attention away from the company name. Someone finally spoke up and asked the company name and he quickly said "Global Domains International." That was the ONLY time he said the company name while I was in the interview. Everything sounded kinda "hokey" from the start but I decided to keep listening to see where the catch was. It turns out you have to pay $10 a month to work for them! They say you can make profits up to $2000 in a week (which we all know is absurd). Profits are based on how many people you can either A) Get to buy their product or B) Get other people to sign up as associates. Needless to say I hung up the phone shortly after that.

I strongly suggest staying away from GDI and companies that are like them. I've been involved in one and all it was was a BIG hassle.

GDI Is Almost a pyramid scheme.

AUTHOR: Smithy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 01, 2009

GDI can't technically be called a 'scam', however, MLM is described as a pyramid scheme with a product attached to it in order for it to remain legal. With Global Domains International the product is, you guessed it.. domains. I'm not saying people don't make money with this program but it's definitely a terrible business model. A business model based around a flawed, non-sustainable business model.

Any person you referr who goes on to pay $10 after the free 30 day trial earns you $1 a month. I'm not joking. You can get bonuses of $100 if you referr 5 in a week but you are required to buy several DVDs from GDI to qualify for it so it's unlikely you'll want to claim it. MLM/Pyramid schemes are not designed to benefit people like me and you, they're designed to benefit the company and the product it's attached to.

If i were you I'd look into direct selling, affiliate marketing or a high-ticket business.

Mainly the reason y most person's fail with GDI is because either they don't have the right tools to promote their link or there up line member's or Sponsor's don't give them the right necessities to be success full with this program .Because of that many person's join not knowing what to do or were to go .an when the fail an quit the program they say GDI is a scam which is Crazy......point blank this program will only work if every one works 2gether .... which is why my 2 sponsors Brian Bear & Tissa who are the 2 top Affiliates in GDI has make it so that no 1 in there up line or who plans to join gdi will never be left out in the cold. You can take my word for it or not i really don't care,,,am just trying to set the record straight with GDI an it not being a SCAM !!!!!!!!!

#3 Consumer Suggestion

GDI is solid. Not all members are.

AUTHOR: L. Charles Burch - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 01, 2009

GDI has rules to follow and some members try to side step them and get expelled, account deleted. GDI has a free seven day trial that should have been explained if you watched their video or read the terms of agreement when you signed up. I started myself in January and found their website builder to be hard to understand. I e-mailed corporate and they responded by putting up a website builder program that is as easy to use as your inbox.

When I first signed up, I was approached by marketers on the forum trying to sell me their programs. Others on the forum said it wasn't necessary. I am a very independent person and chose to do my thing, my way. I am having fun and learning new things about the web experience by it.

I think if a person wants to go on a fast track, fine. Like anything else, it's your responsibility to look things over thoroughly. I find GDI sites to be well worth $10 a month alone. I use PayPal to pay for it and will soon use it to sell e-books and downloadables. When I get people under me, those I sponsor are shown how to get free stuff to promote their business, if they choose, and the info I recommend will be published on my site. My hope is that I may help those in developing countries, who don't have a lot of money, to prosper. My research is ongoing to that end.

You Have No Idea What You Are Talking About

AUTHOR: Xoxo - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, January 25, 2009

Firstly, GDI Is a very legit Company, they have been in business since 1999 and were in the BBB and INC Magazine.

Secondly, How can GDI be a scam when people make money from it, Now Yes $2000 a week is a little far fetched, but some do make that much, apparently you have never seen the leader boards.
I personally make $400+ a week, and I can prove that!

Thirdly, I am not sure what group phone interview you went to but I know the one I went to clearly stated that the company was Global Domains International, several times.

Anyways, Point is GDI is DEFIANTLY NOT A SCAM
