On Monday March 14th Gearbest advertised a Cube i7 stylus tablet for around $304, I made the purchase and I added an original keyboard and stylus that fit the Cube i7 stylus. needless to say that the keyboard and stylus are useless without the tablet itself.

On Friday March 18th, I received a message that my order have been sent, I received a racking code, a receipt and a photo of the package with a half blurry slip on it that the only readable part is my address.

I was browsing through the order on the weekend and then I noticed that the receipt contains only 2 items with a very generic description and that the whole value on the receipt is much lower than the price I paid.

On Sunday March 20th, I sent a message to Gearbest customer service asking them why is it the case as I was afraid that like many other companies the declare a lower price to avoid high taxes which can come out as a problem for the receiver but that wasn't the case.

a Gearbest customer service representative named summer sent me a reply saying that they sent me a package with the keyboard and the stylus but the tablet was "sold out" and "not available" (they used these specific terms) and therefore I need to either cancel it or take something else instead.

Gearbest.com did not inform me about it before they sent the keyboard and stylus because they knew I would cancel the whole deal, so they allegedly advertise a product which they know they don't have, knowing that anyone who would buy it will buy the accesories as well and then they are sending the accessories which are useless without the tablet itself and the customer finds out only when they get the delivery and then it's too late to cancel.

The most outragous thing is that they are still doing it right now even after I confronted them!

Gearbest advertised the same offer throughout the week since I made the order and moreover, they are still advertising it for an even lower price of $299 while telling me they don't have it, the current stock declared is 198 items which by the information they gave me is a fraudulent advertising.

They refuse to refund the whole offer because they said that I have to pay for the keyboard and stylus as they were already sent to me, when I referred to the facts, gearbest customer service are just ignoring my words and are using a method of word repetition that is used to exhaust the customer into agreeing with them and accepting their resolution which is basically to agree to the gearbest scam. (can you believe it that gearbest treat their customers like they are idiots, telling me they don't have the Item and raising the advertised quantity and price at the same time).

At the bottom line, Gearbest and as written on the package, china brands are just raising their sales by offering a product in a good price knowing you will buy the accessories as well, Gearbest are sending you the accessories even though they are useless without the item and they make the sale and you got stuck with useless items you cant use.

I am currently struggling to get a full refund and compensation as I am not planning to accept the delivery and pay taxes for items I can't use and my order was not complete and I did not approve the partial delivery.

I agree with the unethical behavior of GearBest. The rebuttals here seem fake to me. I am in the process now of filing a claim with PayPal to get my money back. This seems to get their attention as PayPal freezes the money in their account until the situation is resolved. I found this on the Better Business Bureau New York website.

So you are not the only one that has a problem with GearBest. My recommendation to anyone that still wants to purchase from them is to use PayPal. At least they will freeze the money in GearBests account until the situation is resolved.

It's very sadly that you are encountered with such problem. I have only positive experience with buying on Gearbest. For the last six month I made three orders on gearbest.com: Meizu HD50 Headphones, Teclast x16 tablet PC and action camera F60b, by the way I ordered action camera with additional accessories. They are came to me very fast (14-16 days to Ukraine) and undamaged. I satisfied by quality of items that I received, they are works perfectly. I like that I can order many items and they will come in one parcel. Also points system can help you save some money.

My experience with Gearbest has always been very good.

The products they have are quality and the prices are very tight .

No comments that problems with lack of stock , usually always Gearbest most products in stock and make fast delivery . Always in less than 12h the package sent .

In my own experience Gearbest is very good online store .

Do not know exactly why the Author of this post faced this problem and more confused on why it did not resolve because let me tell you my experience. Since i found this great website few months ago , i have been crazy ordering left and right every few days.

They have excellent products with unbeatable prices, Garunteed the lowest prices compare to other major online retailer. For example , just few minutes ago i ordered a product costing me about $96 but then the final price came to $70 because i was able to use my rewards points which i got from doing all the reviews of all the products i got earlier from the website. That is really cool ! 

There points system is great , you get 10 points for text review , 20 points for photos upload and a whooping 80 points for a video review. Every 50 points you can use to deduct $1 from your final price. So in my last order i was able to use around 1000 points saving me $20. Which other wesbite does it ? That's really cool.

Now to their customer serivce , It's just great . I send out a ticket and within 24 hours i get a reply. of all the tickets i have sent , they have successfully resolved it and gave me refunds where it was required . So i don't know how anyone can get a problem with this awesome website. 

They even a US customer serive call number . A customer serice phone for a chinese company ? that is really good. How many chinese retailers you know does that ? 

I will highly recommended anyone who loves gadets to see this awesome website at least one. I told all my friends about it.

Thank you for reading. I highly suggent to experience this awesome website first hand and if you have any problem , just test it out yourself and send a ticket to their customer support, they will definetely resovle your issue in a timing manner.
