I signed up for an account on getglue.com because the service offered free stickers in exchange for giving them access to my social media accounts. The terms of service said I would be eligible to receive 20 physical stickers every 30 days for each 20 stickers that I earned.

I granted getglue.com access to my Facebook account, and I allowed them to post to it when I earned a sticker or ordered a set of stickers. I have earned over 7500 stickers over the last few years, and some of them took daily check ins to earn just one sticker. I convinced family members, other Facebook users, and friends to start accounts on getglue.com and they did so in order to gain physical stickers for their favorite shows and movies.

The last sticker order I made over two months ago never was received by me. The stickers never arrived, and I have not been able to order a new set because, in the past, it has interfered with the previous order. I would be risking the order that I was waiting for to be considered received and miss out on ever obtaining the stickers.

The end of November 2013 there was a post made by getglue.com on their blog. They informed us that they physical stickers would no longer be sent out or available to order. They said we would now only earn animated gifs online, and there was no warning or update to the T.O.S. before this was implemented. I am extremely angry and frustrated that I spent the last few years wasting time checking in to shows, movies, and music bands that my family and I enjoy that I am now unable to ever receive. Without the physical stickers as a reward it is pointless to have one more social media site. The T.O.S which promised physical stickers every 30 days was my motivation to create an account.

I want my missing sticker order, and I want them to honor their own T.O.S. that I agreed to when creating my account. There was never a warning to this change, and I received no email with a notice of T.O.S. change. They ignore any email that is sent to them about issues with the service, and have a lousy track record for handling issues that they create.

If a brick and mortar store promised a particular item in exchange for giving them the names, numbers, and addresses of my contacts and then didn't deliver the particular item promised they would be put out of business, or at the very least they would be facing some legal issues. What getglue.com has done here is no different. They received the information and access they wanted from my social media accounts and now they are not willing to follow through on their end.

The only way to make this issue correct is for them to reinstate the sending of physical stickers for continued use of my social media accounts. They have been told by numerous individuals that the users are willing to pay a fee to order the stickers of our own choosing, from our earned stickers, but they are not even willing to do that. If it was an issue of finances the idea that we proposed to them would have been a huge benefit to them.
