I purchased a firearm, a Baby Bauer .25 auto, for $307.00, including "free delivery", from a reputable gun auction site in good faith. The photos of the piece looked good. The piece was described as a "nice little gun" for the collector. The gun looked to be "above average".

Upon delivery to my local FFL dealer, I was appalled at the condition of the gun. It looked as if it had be dropped, or, maybe thrown. The front of the slide, bothe sides, was indented and chipped at the muzzle. The left grip was cracked, and both grips were chipped, and abused.

I called the owner of Ginns GunWorks and told him that I was dissatisfied, and that I was returning the piece to him for a full refund, and that I thought he had "misrepresented" the condition of the gun in his advertisment/description.

Chad Ginn stated that I could not get the shipping cost (free shipping, right), nor the 3% charge on the credit card. I settled for $275.00.

So beware, ye gun collectors of Ginns GunWorks in Tylertown, Mississippi. They do not deliver what they advertise, or provide "free Shipping" (shipping is factored into the final cost/charge). If you try to get ahold of Chad Ginn by email, you will find his messages are screened, and that you are advised to speak to Mr. Ginn personnally (since he doesn't like computers).

I would NOT recommend Ginns GunWorks to anyone who enjoys collecting fine firearms.

This is a rebuttal to this person SLOBO ( FRANK CROMER ) claims about being cheated and having an item misrepresented with the store. We were notified by some of past satisfied customers about this listing, as their thought was the story was preposterous and had to be some type of misunderstanding.

First off this person contacted us thru the gun auction site and wanted to discuss purchase of the firearm. He started off with low ball offers on the item for less than what it was listed stating is not worth the price listed. He was told our position on the piece a couple of times and then a week later he contacted thru email again and stated he wanted for the price listed. He was told he was more the welcome bid on the item and we could go from there. He then stated his accounts had been canceled due to problems between him and the site.

We should have taken that key note right there and ended all contact with him but we try to help folks out where we can as understand that sometimes misunderstanding due happen and take time to straighten out.

He called the shop and spoke with the owner and was explained the transaction and he WAS IN AGREEMENT.

He paid with a CC and we shipped / insured that day after receiving his dealer's FFL to required place. When he received the item he act appalled stating it looked to have been thrown or dropped. His first attempts were that it would have to have repairs done and that we should refund him $100 to cover the cost of having it fixed.

The INDENT or CHIP he states in the slide is actually 2 pin size marks on the edge of the slide. Where the marks came from do not know and did not notice them when taking the picture or else they would have been shown. The grips however where shown in the pictures and HE FULLY knew about them. This was a used firearm and was stated as such.

Yes he was told to call and talk to the owner if he something he wanted to do. I see no harm in speaking with people in person versus just writing emails. This way you can find out where a person stands on things better. The emails that are received are numerous daily and we fully state in the ads that if want something specific to call. The person that handles the email and auction items also travels a lot and allows them the ability to manage everything when out traveling.

The person called and everything was discussed about what the return policy was and he was in AGREEMENT yet again. We do have a CC machine but everything is on a cash discount bases in the store, and is there for those that want to use it. FREE SHIP would have been thru the auction but since this person is apparently banned from using then no we are not refunding the shipping.

We have numerous excellent feedbacks about our items and things we do both in the shop and on the various auctions around. We try to work with everyone on there purchase to ensure that they are completely satisfied. Some folks just can not be pleased. If any of you have dealings with this person I would strongly suggest you scrutinize the deal very well. He does not have to worry about every doing business with us again, as it has caused us to re-think our practice and he is not welcome here ever.

Counting the totals of the persons here at the shop and thru the business we have a combine total of over 1000 feedbacks in the A+ status and NOT ONE repeat NOT ONE negative feedback. Most comments are statements such as BETTER THAN EXPECT, CONDITION EXCELLENT BETTER THAN PICS. We have had one or two items over the years that has failed to meet the other parties standard and were able to solve it to every ones liking. But I guess that sometimes out there you will run into that one person that can not be pleased regardless of how hard you try and because of such makes it difficult for the honest folks later on.
