Looking for a payday consolidation loan?  So was I when Global DS Group approached via telemarketing one morning.  I spoke with a most articulate salesman.  I had numerous questions about the contract I signed with him and he was able to completely put my doubts and fear to rest.  This was initially.  What happened to me if worth reporting to you.  Gobal DS Group may be all that they say.  They may work with creditors and indeed bring satisfaction to some of their clients.  However in my case I got many red flags and was able to cancel my contract with them before the initial installment payment was made.  Here is what happened to me.

Misrepresentations:

1.  I was told that Global Cient Solutions was DS's parent company.

Fact:  GCS is the payment processing center for DS and not the parent company.

2.  I was told by one of DS's "banking specialists" that she was contacting my creditors and when I asked for proof of what she sent, she said she would sent the corresponding documents to my email.

Fact:  She had two email addresses and I never received any documents.

3.  During a conversation with this banking specialist, she went over the names of my creditors implying that she knew all about them and did business with them all the time.

Fact:  From what she told me it was obvious that she was not in contact with the corporate offices of my creditors.  Here is why.  For example, one creditor in CA which is commonly known as Cash I is really Buckeye Check Cashing and Cash 1 is only a dba of Buckeye; which is the company I write my checks to and which states on the agreement that I sign every time I "reup" my loan is the parent company of Cash 1. (I want to say here that Cash 1 is an excellent payday loan company to work with.) She didn't know the corporate names of my creditors.

I watched a video on youtube about potential scams of payday loan consolidation companies.  The second alert or redflag was if the company says it will open a trust account in your name.  The person on youtube said "run away as fast as you can."  This set off alarm bells and yesterday evening I called Global DS Group and the phone answers "A Services" not Global DS Group.  I left a message for "M" to call me back.  The next morning (this date), I got through to "M" after much static from other employees and she finally got on the phone.  I said I didn't receive the promised emails and she said that she sent them.  I told her I had two email addresses and I should have gotten the emails at least at one of those inboxes.  She said she remembered talking to me and that I confirmed that I had received the emails.  That would be misrepresentation number 4.

When I asked M to send me the documents in regard to the trust account that was to be set up, she responded I don't get that information until the first payment goes through. I told her that I discovered that Global DS Group had not been in business for 4 years but had been incorporated in Oct. 2015.  She said nothing.  Lastly, I told her to send me a cancellation notice to my emal box which she had in there after my telephone conversation with her in literally seconds. Finally, she encouraged to stop paying my creditors by putting stop payments on the checks.  The DS contract states that the group gives no guaranteed of success with settling with creditors and so basically a consumer may find they are paying for nothing and, most importantly, now they may face the nightmare of the creditors ending up sending a persons account to a collection agency.  If all this happens Global DS Group still gets their money via contractual obligations.

This report is submitted as a warning.  There is no implied guilt layed at the door of Global DS Group.  I just did not stay with the company long enough because i personally found I couldn't trust the company anymore.  Once again, Global DS Group may be a legitimate company but I leave it to others to make that decision for themselves.

When seeking payday loan relief be cautious and not hasty to sign any documents.  Research with the Better Business Bureau and for potential complaints against the company you may do business with.  Regards and hoping you find a way out of the debt trap.
