Globe Life Insurance Will not pay a death policy McKinney Texas

I have an insurance policy on my husband. He died 30 Oct 13 the death certificate was sent to Globe Life by certified mail 26 Nov 13. When I called to report my husbands death I was told to send the certified death certificate and the assignment form, which I did. I did not know that since Colonial Penn was paying for the funeral that Globe Life you did not need to get the assignment form. I realized my error when anoher policy also paid for the funeral. I called Globe Life before the check went out on 10 Dec 13, but two days later they told me check was mailed to the funeral service third party. I have called serveral times and wrote Globe Life a letter. Trying to get paid. Today they told me I cannot speak to anyone I will have to write directly to claims and they cannot come to the phone. The check did return to Globe Life with VOID stamped on it. There is no indication that the check will be paid again. The funeral service also said the Globe life people had lined out the correct Insurance company name and policy number on the assignment form and had entered Globe life. Now they will not pay the policy or explain why. I JUST WANT MY MONEY.
