I paid in full for a Toyota RAV4 (chassis no ACA36-5010634), on July 14, 2009, to the account designated by Mr. T. Kono. The transaction details are as follows: (incld. $300 for an original stereo unit)

The payment was confirmed by Mr. T Kono in his email dated July 27, 2009.

Ever since the car was paid in full on July 14, 2009, Ive never heard from him. I had to call him on the phone to have him confirm the receipt of money. Email after email, phone call after phone call, he just wouldnt send me the bill of ladding. According to Mr. Kono, he shipped the car on Aug. 28, half month later than he promised. As of Sept 28, he still couldnt produce any shipping document, nor could he tell me the whereabouts of my car. On Sept 29, after I heard from him on the phone for the last time, he would not even answer the phone.

To my knowledge, Mr. T. Kono has been subject to many complaints with Japan External Trade Organization in Nairobi, and is familiar to employees there. His name was immediately recognized by emploey at Jetro.
