Go Daddy did not refund a purchase amount as their billing department said it would be refunded.
My company had a domain purchase that required 2 payments for the same service related to a billing discrepancy internally. They put our domain in a suspended status and required that a second payment was paid in order to get the domain out of the suspended status. Upon speaking with the billing rep, he said the full refund from Go Daddy would be credited after the first payment discrepancy was worked out in the credit card companies processing.
Had to call them on several occurrences and speak with numerous people. Still no help! Customer service is extremely poor after they have your money. Their attitude is non-caring for the customer and all eyes on the company bottom lines.
Spoke to supervisors and they said they could not help even after a billing rep said the credit would be issued.
Spoke with my credit card company and their processing was completed and they said the company should now be able to issue the full refund. They never would follow through with their statements.
Spoke to CEO Team at Go Daddy and they came back with a bogus offer to refund half of the cost as a 1 time courtesy. How pathetic to offer someone half of their money back when they should receive a full refund. We're not going to steal all of your money, we'll only steal 50% of your money!
The most unethical company I've experienced doing business with and recommend that you find another hosting provider, domain name registrar along with another company to provide any other services in their product listings. They will seem helpful on the front end, but when you have a problem, you are done as they will not help and will give you unwanted and unwarranted headaches to remedy a problem.
