Have a billing dispute with Go Daddy or GoDaddy.com. Their billing rep informed me that I would received a credit regarding the issue. I have not received the credit and had put a date for follow up if the credit was not received. Spoke with 3-4 other reps and now a supervisor. He says the credit is against their billing policy. I am calling back to get the resolution I was provided by their previous rep. I have their name and date of our conversation, but this supervisor is not willing to issue the credit.
I have had to pay them 2 times for the exact same service in order to get our web domain out of GoDaddy purgatory. The supervisor did give me another option for resolution and that is email@example.com These mythical people have no names and can only be contacted via e-mail.
Their customer service is poor at best in handling a problem with a customer. They put you on hold for endless time and cannot provide a resolution. They don't even have the authority to handle customer issues even at a supervisory level.
Its mind boggling that a GoDaddy can't follow what their reps informed a customer will happen with a credit. They make the customer jump through hoops and think this is acceptable customer service. I have to say I would not recommend GoDaddy as a domain registrar, hosting provided, web design provider, or other service provider.
Look at the other options and choose a company that will at least do what they say they will do for the customer! Its disgusting and revolting to work with a company that lies to its customers. We will be taking our other domains and service to another provider right away. I will update the report after speaking with the secretive firstname.lastname@example.org, if they return my request for a phone call.
