Corporate Headquarters
Golden Corral Corporation
5151 Glenwood Ave.
Raleigh, NC 27612

Our company did work for Golden Corral located Modesto CA we fixed their cooling unit and after many letters to corporate office our company was never paid even after 3 years.  Our company has made several attempts for payment however they still have not paid.  LJK has even received calls for repair on their equipment.  Of course LJK refused the work.

This is to let the world know Golden Corral is cheap and does not pay their bills

It's not confusing at all...

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

I am just a consumer who happens to know about business and I just happend to see your report.

But even as a consumer I know that a company is not going to pay for a job where there is no proof it was done.  Oh and what proof is that...a signed document from the Manager at the location saying the work was completed and they agree with the cost.  Which you DO NOT have.   Oh and just to be clear...it is becoming very obvious that this is the reason you did not(and will not) take them to court.  Because the court would say the same thing and throw the case out.

When you post on a PUBLIC web site it becomes the PUBLIC's concern.  And as such sometimes the public is going to disagree with you or point out things you seem to be totally missing.  If you don't like that then go create your own site.

As for them calling you for service.  I didn't ask about that, nor do I care or does it really matter.   Of course if they are really calling, why not as a smart business man say..sure I will come out for service when you pay us what you owe FIRST?  If they say no, then just say sorry..find someone else.

There is no RipOff here, but at least I hope you talked to your Service Techs to require them to make sure they get signatures BEFORE they leave.

Who are you? Confusing

Robert

Who are you again?  I do not understand what your input is here.  I see that the invoice was not signed however the work was completed.

I appreciate your direction however being new to this I am just learning how this all works.

Please if you are with Golden Corral please state that you are.  If you are not then you seem to concerned with something that is not your concern.

Again if you are with Golden Corral then explain why they have called LJK several times for service.  We do not work for free and LJK has made several attempts to speak with the manager however they seem to high turn rate at this location.

When you say you have a signed invoice

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

POSTED: Sunday, March 02, 2014

I really don't know who you are responding to.  I never once asked you about cancelled checks.  As for the "truth" the only "truth"(at least according to you) we know about is what you post.

But at least you showing an unsigned invoice explains why you probably haven''t been paid.  It also explains why instead of suing them you decided to post what looks like totally unsubstantiated claims against a company.

Or is there any other "truth" you want to tell us about that we may be missing? No I do not now or have I ever worked for any resturant.

NO PAYMENT EVER RECEIVED

AUTHOR: justcall - ()

POSTED: Sunday, March 02, 2014

Interesting since I have sent letters to corporate and emails to the owners and still have not received payment for services rendered.  If payment was made to our company a copy of the cancel check would be great.

No matter what you post we at LJK know the truth something you know little about.

Questions

Did any of these attempt to collect what was due involve a Lawsuit?

If there was no dispute, it would seem a pretty cut and dry case for a court to decide in your favor.   After all you obviously wrote them a Work/Job Order of what you needed to fix, and had one of the managers at that location authorize the work by signing the paperwork..Right?  You of course documented to them what your cost would be and if there were any adjustments you got an authorization in writting.  Oh and of course when you completed the job you had the manager sign off on the paperwork that the work was completed.

You see if you truly did have all of that, you could take them to court and when you prevailed you would have claimed any legal as well as court costs involved.

Or perhaps is there a reason they didn't want to pay and you are just leaving that little bit of information out.
