I worked for good cause ventures last year with the idea that we were raising money for non profits and a SMALL portion of the money was used for payroll. Boy was i wrong! The money lined the owners pockets. They say 20% of the donations went to make a wish and American diabetes. That is crazy enough that peoples donations weren't going where they thought. Even worse half the time none of it went there. They emptied the donation buckets each night while in the car counted and split the money. Walmart seemed to catch on as more than one store kicked us out. Still they find new stores and people to target. They even wore make a wish shirts and went door to door pretending to be from the foundation! More than once they refused to pay me and others for 8-10 hour shifts. After the channel 8 news crew did a story on their scam they changed to American diabetes. Please contact southern Maine walmarts and demand they don't return.
