GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY REFUSEED TO OVER TURN INSTURTORS UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR. INSTRUCTOR DROPED GRADE FROM98.88 TO A 43.00 AFTER STUDENT ASKED A QUESTION. STUDENT MADE TO REPEAT COURSE, AND HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF SCHOOL ALLEGED PAYING FOR IT,AND JKEPT REFUND ALLOTMENT FROMSTUDENT AS WELL. PHOENX Arizona

 As the student that is taking loans to pay for graduate programs we should be allowed some type of latitude when question an instrutor especally if the question has no bearing on that instructors abilities, however with only 3 sessions left in the course I (student) was particpating with a grade of 98.88 and very much assured passingand the final complete I felt it within my right as the stuudent to question the grade given on my final project, and my question to the instructor was did she believe that I (Student) knew what he was doing?

Now I don't know what or how she could have misconscrewed what I stated , and assumed that it had a bearing on her, but evedently she had to assume it was pertaing to her ablities to teach. Well my grade dropped to a 43.00 after that exchange. Of course I was livid! How di I go from a 98.88 to a 43.00 with just 3 more sessions in the course. I immedeatly filed a grievance and I was allegedly contacted by some director, and he stated he would get back to me well after waiting my student advisor informed me that I had to re-take the course.

Now at the time I had a very strengent job. I was on call for any type of emergency, and when you work in a mental ill populational shelter, there is alwasy an emergency. I was to stressed out to complain any more and re-took the class and bascally go the same grade I got the first time. But befor I retook the class my student advisor informed me that I would be placed under academic review. However she did not infrom me that the school would be picking up the payment on the retaking of the class.

I pass it again and move on to the next one untill I recieved an e-mail congraulating me on completeing my academic journy. Be ad vise that you have to pay $150 for graduation application and commencement and then jus before I am to start 1 of those only two classes I left besides the 2 internships I have to complete. I get an e-mail stateing that I owe the school$1,700. Now they issue disbursement after 3 or 4 classes and you already have my disbursment of 3 of the classe I have already taken, yet I owe you $1,700?

Further more not once did the student advisor explain to me that the school would be allegedly picking up the tab for the class retaken that I did not fail in the first place. I had lost my job had know money to pay and they continued to harrase me and refuesd to accept my terms for a payment plan. With their terms there was no way I could have paid. But I should not have had to pay in the first place since I did not fail that class they made me retake. I have called and e-mailed and no one has returned calls or e-mailed me since, and they kept my disbursments.

On top of that when I attempted to get my transcripts to go to another school they refused to hand them over. They have estorted me and now you hold my transcripts hostage as well? This is supposed to be a Chrsitian insitution,and nthis is how you treat your students? Even if they chose to admit their erros and admit me back I would not return there. What I want is my disbursements and my offical school transcripts, and for them to acknowldge their mistake. This scholl is located at

 Please help me this process started in2011 and I would like my Masters I earned it. They had know right to ignore this instructors unethical behavior or make me retake a class I did not fail. Withholding vital info such as they would pay and with holding my disbursments from the previous classes.
