Grant & Weber Attempted Fraud Calabasas, California

In March 2011, Grant & Weber contacted me in reference to an alleged debt of $ 590.00, which had been sent to them by a medical company. The issue was cleared up, as I did not owe money to the medical company, and the case was closed. On June 22, 2011, however, Ms. Petersen at Grant & Weber called me demanding a payment of $150.00. Ms. Petersen refused to send me a validation notice for this further claim, despite my request for one. She maintained throughout her call a menacing and attacking tone, interrupting me at times and repeatedly stating that she would report me to a credit report agency unless I paid promptly. Both the medical company and my medical insurance have confirmed that this further request by Grant & Weber is unfounded. I suspect that Grant & Weber is trying to bully me into giving them money to which they have no entitlement.
