Sorry to say this, but either youre not that good of an actor or you just dont fit the look. If they "play favorites" then one has to assume that these actors have proven themselves and fit the part. Why do you think they do casting calls?? They dont just take the first pretty face to walk in. They interview many people. If you havent gotten a job yet then why blame the agency? All they do is send over what is asked for and make recomondations. The final descion is ALWAYS with the casting director, and NOT with the talent agency.
You and I both know that to be a SUCCESFUL actor takes lots of time and paying your dues. Try doing "side work". Community plays. Shakespear in the Park. Little things like that can bolster your "appeal".
