Erin My husband and I signed up for new electrical service at the Woodlands Home and Garden Show last Saturday.  You assured us that the service would be available and turned on by Wednesday, the 31st, the day that we were closing and beginning our move to a new condo in downtown Houston .  You may remember that we had quite a discussion about the differences in billing between Green Mountain and Reliant.  I am sorry to say that when we arrived at our condo last night with the first load of our belongings, we had no electricity (and the power had been on a lunch time yesterday, probably on the sellers account).  What a disappointment!  You referred me to Customer Service, and after 15 to 20 minutes of a circular choose this option, then choose another option,it was confirmed to me that they were already closed for the evening, since it was after 10:00 pm.  You still wanted me to call them, and I was probably disturbing your evening.  You did say you would contact your boss, and I did ask you to follow up this morning and let me know what happened to our order.When I called Customer Service again this morning (still a huge chore getting through that circular menu of choices, some of which you must select more than one time), I was told that there was a problem with our order when they started processing it yesterday note that was the same day you assured us that the service would be turned on!  There was something about some missing information, but certainly no one called us to inquire or obtain further information.  What a disappointment!  We had to pay for a hotel room to have a place to stay last night, and no one at Green  Mountain is even aware of how we were inconvenienced by their incompetence.  Needless to say, I cancelled the order with Green Mountain  this morning, and have placed an order for our electrical service with another provider.  That took me about 15 minutes to accomplish, and that service will be turned on today.  I believe they are dependable.Neither of us will be shouting the praises of Green Mountain s Customer Service, I can assure you.  What a disappointment!We sincerely hope you will share this with your boss and any other interested parties.  Regards
