Green Tree Final Payoff was NOT the Final Payoff now they want CORPORATE ADVANCE PAYMENT Chicago Illinois

We refinanced our home and we did it all through a title company. They sent the payment overnite and GreenTree did not report it paid until 3 days later
then about a week later they sent a statement saying we owed more money..#115.00 more I called the Title company and Amy called them they said it was not anything they could discuss with her. (They could send her company the payoff on 8/27/07 but discuss this?)

So I called them they told me it was for an appraisal report to payoff the back taxes. I asked them to send me a copy of the report and of the billing. I received a copy of our appraisal done in 1998 and paid for by us! I immediately called customer service and told them they did not get paid for a 1998 appraisal we paid for so if they wanted to get this matter cleared send what I asked for !! Again I received a copy of our original 1998 appraisal paid for by us.

Each month they sent a bill saying call us for the final amount. On January 14th 2008 I received a call from a Craig who said he was the Green Tree collection manager and informed me if we did not payoff the now $260.00 we owed he would just wrtie if off. I told him to go right ahead!

Today 01/21/08 I received a call from Wakeem in the GREEN TREE COLLECTION DEPARTMENT and he informed me we now owe him $860.00 plus IN ONE SHORT WEEK CONSIDERING THIS IS A HOLIDAY! I told him to fax me the total accounting and he informed me he would do no such thing end of conversation! This is a rippoff company and I want to see them and these tactics overseen by congressional investigators!
