Guaranteed Consumer Funding CEC Solutions Home Of Guaranteed Consumer Funding They advertised a new computer for me plus a free Wii game system and a free mp3 player if I signed with them. They claimed to clean up my credit if I would send a down payment of $99.00 and let them debit $29.99 once a week. If I did this they would send me the computer and I would continue the weekly payment until the $1569.00 was paid. McLean Virginia

In Oct 2008 I called the company to sign up for a new computer. They sent all the papers for me to send my information back to them. They told me I needed to make a $99.00 down payment and every other Friday they would debit my savings account until the debt was paid. If I made 6 consecutive payments, they said they would send me the computer.

In November I still had not heard from them.I called and they told me I was to get a delivery date soon. They called in Oct. 2008 and gave me a delivery date of the week of Oct 20th.

I waited until November and called again. I have been paying every other week without fail all along. They said Dell had fallen behind on their orders and my new delivery date would be mid to late January 2009. I protested and asked why such a delay. They said they don't ship computers in December because of the threat of theft in transit. I wanted a refund and they said I apparently signed a contract that stated I couldn't get a refund. I told them I had no such copy of any signatures and asked for them to send me a copy.

I have been given several different shipping dates since I started this whole run around. The first one was 2/25/09, then it was 3/30/09 and then 4/14/09 and then once that 8 day window had expired I was told 5/4/09. You have to give them an 8 day window for delivery and they can't give you any tracking numbers until that 8 say window has expired. I called them on 4/16/09 and explained that I thought this was a scam. I called my bank and had them stop payment. I then called GCF on 4/28/09 and was told that my computer was sitting at the UPS site but since I had stopped payment they couldn't give me the tracking numbers. I was then put on hold for more than 15 minutes. Then I was told someone from auditing would get back with me later today. Guess we will see! I am embarrased to say I have paid them over $1100.

I have followed all of their rules. I believe this company should be investigated. Someone, please help.
