Harmon wood stoves This company has no clue to customer service, they sell a inferior product and are unwilling to honor their warranty. I have made many attemps to get help from them and their dealers here locally to no avail. The stove leaks fumes into our home, it has two warped doors and the damper lever is loose inside the stove. We purchased a new Harmon wood stove about three years ago. It has two doors for loading wood into it, one in front and the other on top. Both doors are leaking fumes into our home, the top loading door is clearly warped and the front door just doesnt seal properly. These problems have been since the first day of use. I contacted the dealer and after making accusations as to the cause, they finnaly sent someone out to exammine the stove. We never heard from them again, so we decided to try the dealer in a nearby town. They agreed to have a person look at the stove the next time they were in the area.

Some time later, we called them again and they made a recomendation to change the chimminey cap and ad a length to the pipe, we did that at a cost of a few hundred dollars.....it did not help. They also recomended we put in a fresh air intake system so we tried that as well, it required drilling a 4" hole thu the foundation of the house and two layers of brick....this did help with the combustion process. However the stove still leaks fumes into our home.

We have given up on the dealers doing what really needs done, replace this lemon of a stove. We have also e-mailed the main office twice now with no response. I beleive they are trying to ignore us till the warranties expire, if it hasn't already.This company is only interested in getting your money...........after that it's adious sucker.

Do yourself a favor and don't fall for those phony reviews.
