My husband and I have purchased merchandise from this store as well as consigned some firearms with them. Recently I had a firearm on layaway for my husband which I was told needed a large deposit of $615.28 which I did pay to them. Today I went into your store and dealt with James English and Erica Andlicher. I explained we are not able to pick up this layaway due to financially difficulties because of loss of employment and helping out our father who has been diagnosed with cancer. I originally asked if it would be possible to get a refund of my deposit, which James flat out said absolutely NOT. I then reminded James that my husband called at least a month ago and told him if anyone has interest in purchasing this particular firearm to please sell it to them, James said no problem. Now James tells me today that he called Eric a few weeks ago and asked Eric if he wanted him to consign the gun, he claims Eric said NO he still wants the gun. This statement is absolutely untrue and is a LIE James never called Eric about consigning this gun I had on layaway. I then ask James if he would be kind enough to take a restocking fee and refund the balance, but once again James said No. Finally I ask if I could at least get a store credit as the amount of the deposit I had on fireman was very large, he also rejected that. I asked for a copy of the layaway contract that they said I signed where it stated no refunds and of course they couldn't produce that. If I knew that layaway deposits were non-refundable when I signed the contract and there was a possibility of me losing $615.28, I would have NEVER given such a large deposit or put the firearm on layaway.
Erica proceeded to print out a white piece of paper that has the original purchase price and my deposit of $615.28, on it, and James handed it to me...NO WHERE did it say I would not get a refund. James then came over and took the printout from me that Erica printed and went over to the computer and had Erica start typing Layaway Deposits are Non-Refundable! in bold print , he then gives me the new printout with this statement he just had Erica type on it. Where is the original Layaway slip with my so called signature on it...NO ONE KNOWS. I'm not sure what kind of business and fraudulent actions this owner allows his employees to do in his absence but this will not be tolerated. My husband and I are past business owners ourselves and we have always took pride in giving the best customer service possible, maybe this is why we have always had repeat customers over the years and our businesses have been built on referrals.
I have to say, having a small business, such as this in such a small town and a website that states that they have superb Customer Service is just a down right LIE. Couple things they need to do...first off spell Havasu correctly on their about us page of their website. Secondly, DO NOT ADVERTISE A FALSE CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, It is the furthest thing from the truth. James was not willing to to help satisfy and keep a good customer, therefore I will be filing a court action against the owner Bryan Bisbas and Havasu Guns, I will make my voice heard on social medias including RIP OFF Report, everywhere about their Lying, Cheating, Rip off business they are running. This way the good people that are looking for firearms or related items will be WARNED who they will be dealing with if they buy from Havasu Guns... a LIARS, CHEATERS and a RIP OFFS. It's a shame, they not only lost us as good customers, but they will be losing a lot more as people read our experience dealing with this company, we are very connected to people here in Havasu and California and I have plenty of time to make sure no one else has to go through this.
