this is a copy of email i sent to Hearthware............I want you and anyone I can tell that you are simply ripping people off, I have had three domes to crack and It is still under warranty, tried Emailing the reps who helped in the past , but they saw fit not to open and/or respond to any of my attempted contacts, they were returned to me.I called today spoke to a female, she said she could send one out for a 13 dollar fee, I told her no, it was obVIiously a problem with the units , I am not the only person who has had problems, she stated that they are aware of the problem...and get this.... Offered to SELL me a better dome for 50 bucks plus 13 in shipping, now if you know there is a problem then it should be handled that way, and the so called "better plastic, that can withstand the higher temps." should be sent out at no expense or should I say no more expense seeing as how I have almost 200 invested in something that I can no longer use, still under warranty remind you, guys this is poor customer service and as I am aware I am only one person I will do my best to let others know about the shotty product and service.YOU KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM IN WHAT YOU SOLD ME AND WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OTHERS, BUT EXPECT THE CONSUMER TO PAY MORE AND MORE, YES THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A RIPOFF.

My father ordered the NuWave oven and cookware online as a result of a TV infomercial also, with similar dissatisfaction. It appears that there are many problems with this company, including false/misrepresentation of advertising and definitely very poor or no customer service. I researched this company (whose real name is Hearthware Inc.) and although they are accredited by the Better Business Bureau, no person has filed a complaint against them. I would encourage you to do this. If enough people would do this instead of only posting on ripoff/scam report sites it should make a difference in the long run.
