I cannot believe this! After reading some of the previous ripoff reports, I felt like all the others were telling my story.

May 6 - After several emails and calls, I attempted to call again to get someone on the phone that can produce results. I was placed on hold (by Dustin), was fifth in line. Then when it was my turn, I was forwarded right to the voice mail. This is a joke. I know if I cancel, I'm still required to pay hosting for a year and I would only get half of a refund (Which I think is BS!). But the way I see it, I'm already loosing money, waiting for something that may never happen - RESULTS!

Since my order on MARCH 25, I could have learned to build my own two-page website by now. It's evident that the communication between Heritage employees/contractors does not exist. For instance, I don't know how many times I've had to provide my daytime phone number because every rep wanted to call me around 11am, when I asked to be contacted in the afternoon on my home number. Even after I provided a daytime contact, I would still get messages, in the daytime, on the wrong phone number.

My original account manager, Chelsey, goes on vacation. So my file is left untouched until she returns. Why assign her to my account if she's going out of town? Then I wait and wait and wait to be contacted by a designer. I gave my designer, Madaline, details about how the site was supposed to work and how I was told by Chelsey I would need an additional 'download' page for $100. Instead I told her I would reduce the content to one page and have the 2nd page be the 'download' page. Instead of the designer verifying this info, she tells me she has an order for 2 pages and that's what she'll do. I had already reduced it to one page of text but she tells me to send 2 pages of text and desired photos. By the way, I uploaded all of my web materials via the hwswebcenter site, before Chelsey went on vacation; however, Madaline said she didn't receive any of it. What was the point of uploading my material?

The site has been designed, as 2 pages, but NOT programmed because of the 'download' page requirement. So why is the site live? It's not functioning! After I had been waiting and waiting and waiting for a programmer to contact me, Madaline emailed me to say the programmer hasn't contacted me because the 'download' page requires an additional $150. That's not even the amount I was told before.

I contacted my original salesman, Brandon, who tells me he will forward my account to the VP, Steve Berglund. That was May 4th, still no word from anyone. Talked to Brandon today, May 8th, he transfers me to Lance's voicemail...still no word.

Do you see why this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had? Where's the accountability? Where's the customer service? Who's going to be the professional, admit there is a BIG problem here and right this wrong?

Do yourself a favor, don't bother with HIT Web Design, whatever they're calling themselves today. It's not worth the headache.
