Herman Street Herman Street Company are crooks and scammers Internet

I needed to buy Bitdefender so I googled and ordered it. In my haste I didn't notice I was ordering from a third party, Herman Street rather than directly from Bitdefender. I knew that Bitdefender had a 30-day money-back guarantee. When I downloaded the Bitdefender it would not install so I emailed Customer Support for help, then realized I wasn't dealing with Bitdefender but Herman Street Customer Support instead. Well, I learned my lesson to take my time and pay attention to what I'm doing. Herman Street finally replied to me the next day and that evening I tried what they told me to do. That didn't work and I needed Bitdefender installed very badly to eliminate a virus. I knew I couldn't talk to Herman Street Technical Support until the next business day so I downloaded the free trial of Bitdefender directly from Bitdefender and tried it. It installed and ran fine but, unfortunately, it didn't detect the virus that was causing me to lose sleep. At that point I gave up and reset my Windows 10 installation to eliminate the virus and that solved my virus problems for good but created 4 days of work to get my system back to normal with all my data recovered. Meanwhile, I contacted Herman Street and requested a refund. Herman Street refused to refund my money (Twice what Bitdefender charges directly) because they said I didn't give their Customer Service department ample opportunity to solve my problem.

Well, I am herby announcing to the world that Herman Street are crooks. Yes, I now know their published policy is not to refund but I didn't know that when I made my purchase, I did know Bitdefender unconditionally guaranteed their product and hastily ordered it hoping to solve my virus problems. Herman Street way overcharged me and downloaded something that wouldn't even install, let alone work. They never even apologized for downloading a non-installable software product. Then, on top of all my problems, they refused my refund and I'm out $80. I hope everybody reads this and refuses to order anything from them.
