I signed up to receive e-mail job alerts from christianjobs.com. About a week later I received an e-mail from AEG stating that they had seen my resume and wanted me to contact Hilary Joy on Yahoo messenger to do a briefing and interview session. I did this and was leery, so I checked out AEG online and found them to be a legitimate company.
I went back to Hilary on Yahoo messenger and completed the interview at which time she offered me a position to work from home doing data entry at 24.75 an hour. She also stated that the company would send me a check so I could buy new software and a computer, basically what ever I would need to get started, from their vendor.
I received a cashiers check today from Temika Owen at 3751 Matlock Rd, Dallas, Tx 78333, for $2720.00. I thought this was awfully fishy especially since the FedEx envelope was from this company (which also appears to be legitimate) Worthington Aviation 2995 Lone Oak Cir Ste 10, Eagan, MN 55121.
I started looking online and found your website with another report with the same situation and the Worthington Aviation company involved. I have the cashiers check as well as one e-mail and my Yahoo messenger chats with this Hilary Joy. I would love for these people to be prosecuted. I thought I was applying for legitimate jobs, which I desperately need. I can't believe there are people out there that would prey upon honest hard working Americans like me. I can't even begin to tell you how angry and upset I am. These people need to be stopped!!!

Please be advised that Worthington Aviation does not post, or advertise for work at home jobs. Recently, it has come to our attention that individuals are using the Worthingon Aviation company name in these ads, and sending checks with our company name to unsuspecting individuals seeking work at home opportunities. To the best our knowledge, the scammer will contact the unsuspecting individual and report that an overpayment has occured. Then, request that the individual wire money to an account after depositing the check. Later, they find the check will bounce and be out of the money.
Worthington Aviation has been working with the Eagan, Minnesota police department and, as of this posting, has an open case on record. If you have information that might be useful in the investigation into this fraudulent activity, please contact the Eagan Police Department at 651-675-5700, referencing case number 14000995.
