HML Photography Fauxtographer Who Steals Photos! Berea Ky

If you take a closer look to the linked image, its of VELVETPAPER PHOTOGRAPHY which is not my photography sharing and commenting incredible. She was using my image that she took of me as a profile picture. 

After reviewing the initial report posted by “anonymous” on Aril 1st from Lexington, KY and examing the detail of the provided proof (i57.tinypic.com/vzzhnk.jpg) of a print screen image with multiple open tabs in a Firefox web browser you will discover several problems with the reports claim.

The complainant isn’t anonymous, but is infact a photographer that Hannah modeled for and was mentored by, Lea Thompson. From the proof provided in the original report, Lea has misinterpreted a comment from an acquaintance of Hannah’s who shared his concern with a possible copyright infringement. Reviewing the details below you’ll see that Lea proceeded with a “Rip off Report” without any evidence of infringement, thievery, or lying.

• The active tab in the image is a facebook account.The upper right corner of the web page identifies the facebook user as “Lea” managing the the facebook page “Velvet Paper Photos”. The last tab on the image is of an open Gmail Inbox clearly identified as velvetpaperphotos@gmail.com

• The Owner/Photographer of Velvet Paper Photography  is Lea S Thompson. Lea, Identifies herself as the Owner/Photographer of Velvet Paper Photography and is from lexington. (identical profile pictures)

• Hannah expressed concern that fellow photographers were taking offence to her new and growing presence in the Lexington Market. Lea mentored Hannah on what to expect and helpful tips on the next steps to grow Hannah’s business.

• Hannah modeled for Lea and one of many sets. Hannah shared the work of Lea/Velvet Paper Photo’s without editing the image. She gave full credit and a positively glowing review to the photographer and the company. Lea expressed her gratitude.

• The facebook comment that Lea has used as proof isn't substancial.

• The author of the comment does not state that Hannah claimed the photo in question as part of her photography portfolio. The Comment  states that Hannah takes her own photo’s.

• Hannah did post several self portraits in the months prior. The author behind the comment obviously assumed she only did her own photography.

If Lea was in her own words a “true professional photographer" she wouldn’t have assumed a startup photographer that she had mentored and intimately photographed was taking undue credit. She would have used her experience to explain to the sceptical commenter that just because photogrophers do take their own photo it doesn’t mean they don't like to compare their novice skills to those of of a high-end photographer.

I am the owner of HML Photography and this has just been brought to my attention. I have no doubt this report was made by another local photographer thats had beef with me. The images provided were from an Article i saw on facebook that i had shared to my wall. In no way shape or form did i take credit for these images. And the person that filed this must be bored and not have s**t to do because my business is great and this report has absolutly ZERO effect on it.
