Referred to this chirpractor by attorney. Richard Hoffman and his antiquated staff/business practice were anxious for payment. They billed my car insurance company received payment. Then billed my health insurance company received payment even after discharging me in car accident case per attorneys request. Falsified discharge report given to the attorney. Billed them for all services rendered although he recieved payment already. After case was lost due to his excessive treatments and falsfying discharge note, sued me for uncollected co-payments assigned by my health insurance carrier when case was lost. 

In addition, charged $295.00 for a tens 3000 unit; my insurance company refused to pay for this equipment. Dr. Hoffman's office list this equipment at cost of $95.00. This tens unit is cheap can get on Amazon.com and other websites between $20- $40. 

The office has a practice of having patient sign an index card. They have not formal documentation of services rendered. They called soliciting their services; saying they were concerned since they haven't seen me in so long. Scammers....they only wanted to bill to get payment. They did not care about my health concerns. When the jig was up, and no more money coming in. The calls stop.

Beware of the unscrupulous practice of this chiropractor office. If your lawyer refers you to him do not give your health insurance information. He will bill every which way he can. Then he will submit a enormous bill and deduct a discount that is not real. When he sent me a final bill said he would bill my credit card on file, but I never authorized him to keep my credit card on file.

If you need care it's better to coordinate it with a medical physician (MD).
