My new 2013 ford focus transmission has been repaired many times. My transmission is on its 3rd clutch in 26000 miles. This car malfunctions at random. My radio usb has also malfunctions intermittantly. I have a video of the usb not working. Ford has admitted to possible transmission problems and given all Dual Clutch Transmission owners a 7 year 100000 mile warranty. I had BBB arbitration deal that tried to give me a 5 year 100000 mile warranty. None of these deals would fix my radio. Now i am stuck with a non reliable car and the BBB wont help. The BBB is for the buisnesses.

The BBBBS Is A Scam!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, December 24, 2015

The owners of the BBBBS scam come first in their eyes.  The BBBBS will SELL their phoney accreditations to anyone who wants to pay the price.  If this dealership BOUGHT their way into the scam then you can see how level the playing field is.  You would be going up against one of their CUSTOMERS.  Their CUSTOMERS buy their phoney accreditations.  As such, they will never rule against a source of income.  More important is you are aware the BBBBS is NOT part of ANY government body, aren't you?  The BBBBS has ZERO POWER to do anything.  The reason they call themselves a "bureau" is to further deceive the public into trusting them in their on-going scam.  The BBBBS is the exact equivalent of those off shore places selling phoney diplomas.

If you bought this car new, have you done any research into getting relief under the provisions of the so-called "Lemon Law"?

How you were ripped off differs from what you think

Extended warranty is sold by the dealer as a type of "Isurance Policy" that the call a "Contract"

It is for people who are scared of how expensive cars are to fix.

The system is rigged in the Extended Warranty companies favor.

Now you want a refund of the premium amount. Thats not what the Dealer or Warranty company calls it but that is what it is.

The prroblem is that you caught them selling you something worthless to you but the Finance person who sold it to you will have to give his or her commission back and the dealer his mark-up, that is around 40% of what you were charged, for you to get your full refund.

So they are stringing you along to justify a partial refund of the Un-used portion of the Contract as its called in Extended Warranty land.

Sounds like small claims court time to me.

There is also a Government body in your area that Licences, Punishes and investigates Dealers. Call them and raise a fuss.

Small claims is fun if approached correctly, at the very least the dealer has to stand in front of the Judge and explain why you shouldn't get your money back. Allways good fun.
