 HOME WARRANTY OF AMERICA-- AKA-- LIARS AND THIEFS

I filed a valid claim under the home warranty, they denied it over the phone without validating it or sending a rep out to complete an inspection. I asked for the warranty to be refunded. Penny told me it would take 4-6 weeks.

I called back a few times within the initial 6 weeks and Trish told me they will abide by their rules and regulations and complete the rfund within that time frame. Well... its been 8 weeks and i called back today i was told byTrish and Penny that they lost my paperwork and cant complete the refund until its found. I also have to have a 30$ fee deducted from my remaining warranty for them to process the refund. I have asked repeatedly to talk to a supervisor or manager and they leave me on hold for 10- 20 minutes, never connecting me to them, they pick up and tell me to continue to hold, transfer me to one another or just hang up on me.

So if ive got this right- they refuse to pay valid claims under the contract they sell.

They refuse to refund the contract- tell me they lost the refund paperwork and i have to continue to wait until they find it.

I have to pay them a $30.00 fee to refund the product they refuse to honor and refund in a timely manner.

I cant talk to a manager or supervisor about the problems with Trish and Penny.

They tell me there is nothing they can do to help me or speed the process along.

What rights do consumers have these days.

To all prospective buyers of home warranties- if you feel like getting ripped off, throwing your money at a company who will treat you like crap, getting lied to, getting valid claims deinied with no inspection or valid reason... then please make your checks payable to HWA... they love people like that.

I am willing to join a class action if possible. I am willing to talk to the media about this. I want hwa closed or at least fire the morons-(Trish and Penny).
