Before making your decision to use HomeTenders of America Read This:  These people have not only threatening but extremely aggressive.  We needed a temporary situation as we were building a home.  As everyone knows, you tend to go over budget and I wanted a situation that was teporary and cheap.  But as the lesson goes, "you get what you pay for" right?   After speaking to the realtor that had the home listed where we stayed, she highly suggested that we contact the Better Business Bureau.  Her words exactly were, "you guys were a dream to deal with.  Hometenders is a horrible company and I never knew how bad they were until word got around about this website.  If you read the complaints here, they are all basically the same.  What shocks me is their behavior they engage in when responding to ALL these complaints.  It screams unprofessionalism.  Wow!

Although I hadn't had time to take care of this as it's been busy moving in and lifes daily business, I do feel it is necessary as the realtor said to protect those who like myself, need a temporary situation.  Do not consider this company Hometenders of America whatsoever!  As a businessman myself, I take extreme pride in reviews and what is said about our company.  If I had just one, (literally JUST ONE) of these complaints, I would do everything in my power to make things right.  Instead, they take it upon themselves to call each and every complaint, LIES.  When there are as many complaints as they have, you tend to take notice and make the obvious decision that this company is not on the up-n-up.  Do yourselves a huge favor....save yourself the stress and do the good 'ole fashioned way...RENT.  I hope I've helped you make your decision.  Have a blessed day.

Hometenders of America has been in business now for 10 years. If any of these complaints were valid they would be reported to the Arizona Dept. Of Real Estate as we are a licensed property management company and also to the BBB where these facts could be verified. We have done over 5000 homes in these past 10 years and the only complaints we get are sour grapes from people who do not want to adhear to the guidelines of the program and as a result suffer the consequenses. 

We have never had anyone with this name D Friedman in our program nor have we had anyone in the last two years building a new home and moving into one of our properties as an interim suitation. So this whole story is totally ficticious. Furthermore, if you read the complaint there is no specific indication of any wrong doing by our company. And we are always open to maintaining our credibility should there be a logical problem to resolve. This was a personal attack on the owners of the business and for what reason it is totally unknown. 

As with human nature people tend to take the negative as gospel and not read the posititve. If we were not a successful business we would not have helpted to sell over 5000 homes and been in business for 10 years. We have many satisfied customers with Realtors, Homesowners and Hometenders. We have had hometenders who have been with us for 5 years because they love the program. We also have Realtors who will NOT take a vacant home listing without Hometenders being involved. 

 

EVERYONE OF THESE COMPAINERS ARE FICTICIOUS AND THE AUTHORS HIDE BEHIND A FAKE NAMES FOR FEAR OF RETROBUTION BY MEANS OF DEFIMATIONS OF CHARACTOR AND LIABLE THOUGH THE COURT SYSTEM. ANYONE CAN WRITE ANYTHING ON RIP OFF WITHOUT REPERCUSSIONS. SAD!

“SAVED HOME FROM POTENTIAL DISASTER! We have a brand new $6 Million Dollar 11,000 sq. ft. new build home in Silverleaf. We just had a fantastic caretaker/hometender from Hometenders of America put the home. The builder sent over a fireplace crew to test and light all the fireplaces in the home (there are seven). All of them are gas and have remote starts. The crew finished testing and left. The next day, about 15 hours later, our Home Tender was out in the backyard checking on the pool with the pool man. He immediately said that he smelled a strong gas smell. They checked the outdoor fireplaces and smelled nothing. They thought it might be a main gas leak coming from the desert as the smell was so strong. After further investigation they went to the guest house and opened the doors and almost passed out. The gas had been left on emitting from that fireplace for over 14 hours! If the house had been vacant, not only would it have blown up, but likely taken out several other homes in the neighborhood (and maybe even lives). “
