Aparently, the companies Dealtime,HomeWorksPlus , Adaptive Marketing LLC, Adaptive Marketing LLC, and at home rewards are all the same company that operates by advertising on "legitimate companies." Some of the companies are Truecredit.com, Dell.com and classmates.com.

Truecredit.com is owned by Transunion a major credit agency and with just you entering your email address will transfer you Name, Address and Credit Card number to the fraudulent company. They hide the language in very small print:

Please enter the e-mail address you used today with TrueCredit.com:

By Clicking "Yes" I have read and agree to the Offer Details and authorize TrueCredit.com to securely transfer my name, address and credit card information to At Home Rewards.

Truecredit.com a company that is owned by credit giant TransUnion one of the mail Credit Bureaus is helping a company perpetrate Identity Theft. Apparently, Truecredit.com advertises a free $25 Lowes (among other offers) gift-card to consumers, who then unknowingly signup for the free gift card and then find they are a victims of identity theft. Ironically, the consumers that have fallen victim to identity theft are actually paying Truecredit to monitor for credit fraud. The advertiser that Truecredit.com has partnered with goes under the companies Home Works Plus
(http://www.homeworksplus-program.com) & Adaptive Marketing (http://www.adaptivemarketing.com/).

Apparently once these marketing companies get your credit card numbers or checking account information they start placing monthly charges on your credit cards from $9.95 per/month up, with some reported charges of over $200 per/month. They have a number of toll free number to get off the list but will not give out their information. Adaptive marketing can be reached at 1-800-962-4106 or 1-888-681-7216 or 888-681-7216. The credit card bills will say
Stamford, CT, but the company actually operates at 9500 West Dodge Road, Omaha, NE 68114 US Phone:
+1.4026612000

Thus far, Truecredit.com has ignored the customer complains that referred all scam victims to Virtue Advertising at 888-425-5874.
=============
Recomendation is to NEVER use Truecredit.com, use http://equifax.com/ or some other credit agency if you require this service.
