Don't be deceived by their ads for 6.95 a room.  Their "Basic Steam" method is a joke.  Their machine has no capability to generate steam like a truck mounted unit.  All it does is throw water down and with a prayer or two pick it back up.

When I called to set appointment I specifically asked the receptionist if they used a truck mounted cleaner because I didn't want something like the machine you can pick up at any supermarket.  Truck mounted machines are better able to extract most of the water that is put down.  She said "They use professional cleaning machines in the truck", leading me to believe it was a truck mounted unit.

When the guy showed up, immediately the scam started.  He does the song and dance routine about how their exclusive deep scrubbing method enables him to extract more dirt.  Their "deep cleaning" is a joke.  It's a plastic rake that he quickly brushes over to get the carpet knap up.  The machine still doesn't have enough suction to pull the dirt AND the water up.

Eventually I spoke with the manager who identified himself as "Scott".  Scott was one of those quick talking sales managers who always has an answer but it's never the answer that applies to my question.

My main concern is extraction of water this machine puts down.  He claimed his machine can pull the water up.  The machine layed down so much water, it puddled on the kitchen floor where it ran out of the carpet in the hallway.  I had him call Scott again and I voiced my disgust with his machine.  The floor guy went back over the hall carpet and sucked some of the other water off the carpet and the floor.  Scott said the carpets would be dry within 4-6 hours.  If it wasn't acceptable he'd send someone out tomorrow to fix it.  How is he going to fix it??  With carpet dryers?  Eventually it might dry, but will it foster mold growth?

It's now almost 4 hours after he started.  I went into the very first room he started in and the carpets are still soaked.  I went into the garage and grabbed my wet-vac and started to vacuum up the newly cleaned area.  After doing almost half of the room, I had to throw out almost a gallon and a half of water from the wet-vac.  That is 3 gallons of water left on the floor!  He never moved or cleaned under the two small love seats or two small tables that had wheels on them and would have been very easy to move.

The caveat is with their work order contract the technician makes you sign the right hand side first saying the the service was approved and accepted.  They knew I wasn't happy right from the start and throughout the service Scott was aware I wasn't happy with it.

Don't use this company unless you enjoy throwing your money away and possibly having your furnishings damaged.  Any other company puts protective paper or plastic until legs of furniture.  They don't.

Total price was $140.00.  Save your money and go with a reputable dealer.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

They cheat the system

AUTHOR: TheRealScoop - (United States of America)

You see every person that works for them are contracted. They each have to have their own Incorpiration (Which they have to pay for out of their own pocket) and own insurance. The company itself provides the Leads for the employee/contractor. Out of the $140 you spent on the carpets to get done, the technician only make 25% off that. Which is poor considering they have to purchase ALL of their chemicals with their own money. This company porvides nothing. Their owner is never around as he spends most of his time in Costa Rica. Yes for you to think you are getting a truck mounted cleaning at $6.95 a room is a bit nieve. Considering the Truck Mount systems alone cost near $10,000 once all is said and done. Scott is just an Ex-Con that got the position of manager there. He spent 9 years in Prision an now he is ripping people off. Did I mention Scott also makes a % off the technicians sale. Yeah. Its a big scheme where the customer and the worker are stuck in the middle. They dont care who they hire, and offer little to no training.

As for the equipment used. Go to Home Depot or Publix and rent one of theirs. It is useless as are the chemicals they tell you to buy with it. The stains rewix and come back. Doubt you are gonna go back there and tell them you want your money back. You get what you pay for. Stay away from Horizon and AB&T. Be happy the employee didnt case your place for some stuff to steal. You would be amazed.

deep scrub method does work more chemicals more labor of course it costs more As far as a steam clean they cant do that the machines do not have heaters The machines do however have a great two vaccum system and are capable of extracting the water which is probally cold by the time it hits your carpet If you thought that yor carpets would be clean for 695 thts your own stupidity You get what you pay for if you spend the money they will do the best they can with the cold water machines And if you think that the customers are the only ones they ripoff  they also rip off their employees They employ thirty guys and gals none of which have a steam producing machine if they come to your house ask to feel the heat the machine generates and if the machine only has one plug it doesnt have a heater oh and when you tell them the price is to high they will get you a better deal  buy calling mr green$$$ you will be asked is this the first time you used the service will you tell some friends and neighbors if we give you a discount so if you think you will get soething for nothing smarten up almost every carpet cleaning company will do this so dont hate appreicate that these guys are making a killin off your stupidity
