I don't know how their store customer service is I have only purchased from them ONLINE but this is a pretty awful company and I would NOT recommend buying a gown from them! If I could give this company a -0 stars I would. Their customer service reps are very nice BUT not helpful. And that goes for their Supervisors as well. I ordered a wedding gown from them back in 2007 and @ the time was very happy; they even corrected a problem as soon as I brought their attention to it. Being SO happy with the gown I purchased then I decided to buy another gown online for my BDAY. AFTER not hearing from them and seeing no SIGNS of shipment as my BDAY was coming closer I decided to call and find out what was delaying my order. NEEDLESS to say I found out they canceled my order because they could not meet my event date and I was to be issued a refund which I was told would take 30 days. They stated they had sent me an email to notify me. I NEVER GOT IT. A PHONE call would have been nice. NOW, 44 days later STILL NO refund and after countless calls and being told that a REP would contact me within 2 business days (WHICH HAS STILL NEVER HAPPEND) I HAVE NO REFUND and NO DRESS! I finally found some information on BBB and decided to contact someone, surprisingly after a day Megan in customer service contacted me and told me that she notified accounting to credit me no later than Friday the 7th of May also stating that it takes up to 2 business days to see the credit, it's now been over that and I STILL have no REFUND! STILL I will continue to pursue it until I am satisfied with the outcome! It's a PAIN to deal with but I WANT my REFUND! SADLY they have lost me as a customer. I LOVED this place and all their gowns but I see why they have an F rating on the BBB! They are awful and frankly it's really disappointing. I would CONSIDER going anywhere but HERE! EBAY is a great place to find designer gowns and there are a few other sites out there you just have to look. ALWAYS, check the BBB before you purchase!
Here was the compliant email I sent to Customer service, if enough people continue to complain to them and about them maybe they will finally follow through! I have now been contacting house of brides every week since I was told I would receive a credit on this order. I have NEVER dealt with such poor customer service from HOUSE OF BRIDES even after I had purchased a wedding dress from you back in 2007. I am MOVING out of state and need to close this account and STILL have not received my refund that I have been told I would get. I am NOW in the process of posting my negative comments and experiences on various website sites such as :YELP, RIP off Report .com, BBB and others because this is STILL not resolved. And I STILL have heard nothing from HOUSE OF BRIDES. Please REFERENCE the order number and take care of this situation.
Here is the response I got from Megan in customer realtions:
Thank you for your email. I contacted our Accounting Department and advised to process the refund no later than tomorrow. Please be advised refunds can take up to 2 business days to post with your credit card company. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact Customer Service for further assistance. Thank you, Megan House of Brides email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org Since this email I STILL have NO REFUND and have HEARD nothing from HOUSE OF BRIDES. I since have sent yet another email to Joan in customer realitions and waiting to hear back! Yeah Right, I won't hold my breath!
