I placed a call to HSBC retail services regarding my yamaha account, asked to have a late fee removed because I never received my billing statement in the mail, they put me on hold, when they came back 20 minutes later from being on hold, customer service rep. stated she would remove the late fee if I made immediate payment ( which I did ). About 20 days later I started receiving calls all day from 800-695-6950. Calls were every hour from 8/am to as late as 10/pm at night. I faxed them a form asking for removal of calling list. They stated it was a 5 day courtesy call, I stated I did not need a courtesy call and calling all day long was harassment and not a courtesy call. They told me I would not be removed from the call list. Then to make matters worse, HSBC customer service representative never removed the late fee as they stated. The 39.00 late fee after I made payment. You need to know that I HAD NEVER BEEN LATE IN PAYMENTS FOR OVER 3 (THREE) YEARS or over 36 months in payment from 2007, we are in 2010. I asked to speak to a manager to clear up the issue and she Manager any credits or to fix the accont. Now they keep adding a late fee on every month even though I'm still making my normal agreed upon monthly payment. I refuse to make late payment because they stated they would remove it per our agreement. Are there any honest businesses out there that do as they say or will actually fix there own errors and not blame it on honest paying clients... BUYER BEWARE.... STAY AWAY FROM ANY LOAN FROM THESE PEOPLE..
