The incident happened on June 29, 2016 from the Summit Train Station using the public telephone.
I made a collect call using my debit card. However, nobody was home so only answering machine picked up.
There was no connection made to a person for a conversation but Legacy Collect charged $21.68 on my debit card for less than 2 seconds of machine's beep.
This is a horrible company. The company should be reported for ripping off consumers using service for emergency.
I would like to find out how to get money back from this horrible company for charging such ridiculous amount of fee on collect calls.
Do not ever use this service no matter what. Just borrow a phone from someone on the street and pay a small amount of fee for appreciation if anyone is having an emergency to call collect.
