To Whom It May Concern:

I placed an order with icandywrap.com on 10/26/2012. The order was for candy bar wrappers for my sisters baby shower. Once the order was placed, I received notice that the proof would be made available for me to approve within 24 hours. I checked several times during the next 2 days and my proof was still not available. I checked on 10/31/2012 and my proof was ready but was incorrect. I called the number listed on the website (508- 530-7020) to speak with someone regarding my order. I spoke with a person name Lee. I told him my dilemma and was concerned about receiving the order since the proof was incorrect and the baby shower was less than two weeks away. I work in the Customer Service Industry and have never received such disrespectful treatment!! This company representative was very rude, talked over me and said that he was trying to help. He was never once helpful and kept asking what I wanted him to do. I want it noted that I never once used profanity or raised my voice. However, he declined my request to speak with another associate (he said they were all on the phone) and also declined my request to speak with a Manager. He canceled my order despite the fact that I was calling to correct the original order which was already paid for.

I called back and spoke with another representative. She was a little more sympathetic and said that she would pass along my feedback. However, she said that anytime someone threatens them by requesting a Manager can have their order canceled. I now have to look for a more reputable company to order these favors now with a greater time constraint. What happened to Customer Service and a company doing the right thing? I called back and the associate Lee answered the phone several times which leads me to believe that the company is not adequately staffed to provide proper service or production of orders. I am very concerned that this company is taking peoples money and not delivering on the services that are promised. I was told that my order would be refunded and my PayPal account would be credited. However, I am now in a position to be concerned that my account information will be compromised by an associate at this company that is clearly lacking in ethical business practices. My letter is to inform others of the debauched service and unfair practices that this company, I Candy/icandywrap.com, is involved in so everyone can make informed decisions before doing business with them.
