Corporate Advocacy Program™
BUYERS BEWARE!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO TO A CORPORATE STORE OR EVEN ANOTHER FRANCHISE ("INDIRECT") Retailer OTHER THAN iTalk Wireless. Half the time, these owners don't have the correct inventory in stock and if you come in asking for an iPhone or the newest Android out, they try their hardest to put you into a low end device "temporarily" until they "receive" the device. ( WHICH CAN TAKE WEEKS!!).
Their products (Phones & Accessories) are a joke, chargers that go for almost $35.00 are not even authentic accessories. They are just put in a package with a Verizon Wireless logo and half the time they break on you within 3-4 weeks!! At times they even sell you devices that can be used or returned from previous frustrated and pissed off customers. Keep in mind there is no Product Warranty on accessories and if anything you will be charged a 25% restocking fee for something that can be DEFECTIVE or even $35-$75 restocking fees on devices!!
AGAIN, save your time and money and go to a store that will treat their customers right. I am still unsure on how these crooks and scammers are in business and are carrying the Verizon Logo on their stores. Hopefully someone will read this and shut these people down!!
Take it from me and don't listen to these rebuttals (mostly like the owner or one of his associates are assigned to do).
Visit www.shopiTalk.com to see all the locations so you DO NOT fall into this FAKE scam.
COMPLAIN AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD, SO THEY CAN BE SHUT DOWN!

POSTED: Thursday, December 29, 2011Assuming that an employee who is no longer with Italk was terminated, couldn't sell, or now works at mcdonalds is a ridiculous thing to assume. Not all of us got fired and couldn't sell, Max... It seems like somebodies unemployment ran out and they want their job back. lol

POSTED: Wednesday, December 28, 2011I'm not going to keep going at this with you, if you have a problem we can handle it in person. I've had nothing to do with iTalk for 6 months. The difference between me and you is, I can get over something and move on. You (who again, clearly has no business experience) can't. Plain and simple.

POSTED: Tuesday, December 27, 2011I work for corporate so who are you to tell me how many boxes i Myself as well as my coworkers due. i can tell you that some corporate stores one in which i work DO OVER 1000 boxes a month. 700 is considered a weak month.
I no longer work for vzw so i have no clue what the new policies are for restock fees... but what i do know is that italk charged people more than you would pay elsewhere point blank period. I know because I WOULD CHARGE THEM.
I could care less about your retail experience i remember you and your stores numbers were the reasons NO ONE IN THE COMPANY would get paid out commission. compared to italk corporate goals are a cake walk. really 16new 1hpc 2mbb 1000acc, be on every dash call, 100% nps, ...and on top of that THE ENTIRE COMPANY NEEDS TO HIT A QUOTA WHICH NEEEEVER HAPPENS. When i left no one had gotten paid out a dime of comis for the last 3 months. NO ONE.
if your going to sit here and tell me that you were one of the maybe 4 ppl max in the company to hit comis if the company even hit the goal every month i would listen to what u have to say but seeing as how u werent and i know u weren't i think you should shut up. who gets fired not once but twice from the same company and then comes online and defends them?
i would constantly have customers threatening to go to the bbb bc there refund check on a phone they returned didnt arrive after almost a month and i have also talked to the department of labor personally about wages that were once again withheld from me.
the owners are living it up on all the unpaid comis checks that the employees are not getting bc of impossible goals and lack of inventory. so dont try in tell me corporate goals are hard. you sound more like the order taker buddy. obviously u cant sell otherwise u wouldnt b worried about not hitting goals at corporate and being fired. Must happen often for u im guessing?

You have no idea what you are talking about

POSTED: Tuesday, December 27, 2011You have no idea what you are talking about. Corp stores do 200 to 500 boxes and have around 15 sales reps. So how is a rep possibly doing 200 boxes? Any corp rep will tell you the tablet quotas are difficult.
The VZW restocking fees have changed, but when 4G devices first came out, it was $35 for regular phones, $50 for 4G devices, and $70 for tablets. That is where they got the restocking fees from. They don't charge $75 for a phone. That is a full out lie.
I won't comment on the green fee, but you have no validity to what you are saying. Then you talk about the better business bureau investigating them!? The BBB is a for profit company!! The funny thing is you are on a site (ripoffreport) which was created in opposition of the BBB and publicly ridicules them.

Happy ex-employee, you guys need to shut up
AUTHOR: Max M - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 26, 2011All jokes aside, iTalk was probably the best place I've ever worked. iTalk was what you made of it. We were given the flexibility to sell how we wanted. I didn't have someone breathing down my neck like other retailers. I treated my customers better than any corporate store treated their customers. When I got hired, my store was the slowest in the company. After two or three months, my manager and I turned it into a top 3 store. We had higher NPS than the neighboring corporate stores. So all you guys talking about low inventory and not being a corporate store, you need to get over yourself. If that's how you feel, go work at a corporate store, where you have a 12 tablet per month quota, and if you don't hit it, you're fired.
How do you consider low inventory a rip off to customers? Sure it is an inconvenience to the sales rep, but it doesn't impact the customer at all. Some of these phones costs $500-$800. That's one rep's salary for two weeks. The longer that device sits on the shelf, the more it holds back the company.
The restocking fees on devices are THE SAME as corporate! The restocking fees on accessories are due to people who abuse the conveinence of retailers by buying something and returning it right away. You should explain the policies to the customer and let them decide. Big box retailers and major carriers INVENTED the restocking fee!
You guys want to talk about the price of a car charger... Ok, how much is a bottle of aspirin at a gas station? $7.99 for like 10 tablets. How much is it at walmart? $3.99 for 50 tablets. You guys have no background in economics, accounting, entrepreneurship, marketing, or business. Why do you think your qualified to critique their policies?
My customers loved me. It didn't matter to them if we were corporate or not, because we solved their problems. They probably could have saved a few bucks at a Best Buy, but I guarantee I get the job done right, and my customers were willing to pay a premium for my expertise and service. They didn't have to deal with order takers like you guys.
iTalk needs to improve in many respects, but what you guys are talking about is nonsense. If I was a business owner, and you incompetent idiots were my employees, I would have fired you a hundred times over. Your job was to balance the customer's interest with the company's. Sounds like you couldn't do either.
All I'm saying is you guys aren't trying to help consumers, you are trying to hurt iTalk. You really could care less about the customer. You are obviously mad about your experience there, and you simply want to take your rage out through a medium that was designed to expose predatory companies. All you are going to do is drive business away, thus hurting the current sales reps, and drive costs up making it worst for the customers you claim you are protecting.

POSTED: Monday, December 19, 20112. I think you meant thats you. You see, you need to use an apostrophe when making a contraction; again, second or third grade level English here.
3. Your second paragraph is a run on sentence. You should try using some commas or semicolons if you dont want the reader to pause between thoughts. You can also break up your thought and use periods as I have done here.
4. Your grammar, education and mastery of the English language, continues to shine through with the claim that you are not a owner nor a employee. You should use an instead of a when a word begins with a vowel. Nor, while not required grammatically to change should probably be replaced with neither; and because you used this word, the second anwould not be required but still suggested. Now, on to your pointThose of us who have worked for this horrible company can see right through this lie. It was a gallant effort, Andrew. We know its you because this is what the majority of the emails you send out look like.
5. It seems a bit odd that you would be concerned with my morale. Its unlike you to have concern for other people. My mental/emotional state is great! Im very happy with my life and everything that is both in and out of it. I am thrilled that this horrible company, italk, is no longer having a negative impact on my morale. There is great morale amonst the staff at my new place of employment and I am happy to say it's a company I could see myself retiring from. Do you see the difference here Einstein?
6. Moral is either a noun referring to a lesson learned from a story or an adjective meaning one behaves with high standards or virtuous. I am quite content with my MORALS (which is, if Im not mistaken, the word you were looking for) and don't believe my wish to remain anonymous has any bearing on my moral fiber.
Lets break this down for a moment shall we? The moral of the story about working for italk is that it is a horrible place to work. I learned while working at italk that Andrew and Amir appear to have no morals. The person saying I would use my name if I had (giving benefit of the doubt here) morals, failed to use THEIR name. Thats a bit contradictory isnt it? I choose not to use my name because I dont trust italk. I believe you would harass me as Im sure you have nothing better to do and would spend your time calling me or emailing me with fake threats. Sorry, I just dont want to open myself up to that.
This is of course just food for thought, you uneducated troll.

POSTED: Thursday, October 27, 2011As far as the restocking fees are concerned I was also charged and when they explained to me the reason behind it I was more understanding. The reason they charge this fee is because when a customer like us buys a phone and we dont like it; it now becomes a used product. When and if it does get returned they cannot resell that phone for the same price because it is used. They must take the hit and sell it for lower which they lose money on anyway.
Its customers like you that if you were to come into my store I would politely ask you to leave. All business's need to make money. If they didnt they wouldnt be there to service you and give many job opportunities to people.
