Ian Stevens "Celebrity Acting Coach" - Scam Artist Tampa Florida

Ian Stevens is a self-proclaimed "Celebrity Acting Coach" currently living in Tampa, FL area. I attended several of his workshops, which typically take place in one of his students' living rooms. The material and Mr. Stevens seemed pretty solid at first, but after going to more than 2 of his workshops, I quickly realized there wasn't much more than 30 minutes of good material and everything else he tried to "teach" could more efficiently learned from online articles for free. 

So hey, the class wasn't all that it was cracked up to be, no big deal, right? Not necessarily. I began to question how someone who has such an extensive and professional resume as Ian Stevens claims, could provide elementary school acting training, and so, I began to research Mr. Stevens. I wasn't able to find anything about him. A well-respected celebrity acting coach, who no one seemed to have ever even heard of., and there’s nothing about his coaching experience in Tampa or in Los Angeles where he claims to have spent years coaching A-list celebrities.

The first things about Ian Stevens start appearing in the Tampa Bay area in 2012, and those sources are all from things that Ian either published himself, or requested to be published. Seemed very strange to not see anything about someone who says he's so well known and established.

I decided to ask Ian about this to which he quickly became very defensive, angry, and even talked about suing me for slander! I decided to cut all ties with him after this conversation, but it still scares me for other people that he may end up “teaching” – many of them being children and teens. Anyone who may consider working with Mr. Ian Stevens, please proceed with caution. I have serious doubts that Ian Stevens is even his real name at this point, and am not sure what he’s trying to hide.

Being ripped off by him for low-quality training may become the least of your worries! I would love to hear other people provide more light on his actual background and history, but as of right now, no one seems to know.
