Ibotta made a false claim I had submitted a Receipt that been altered. Submitting an altered receipt is a violation of their terms of use so my account was deactivated. Ibotta removed the activity logs for the last 51/2 months. Ibotta also stole the $39.40 that I had in my account leaving $6.75 to remain. Posted an inaccurate figure for lifetime earnings. In fact,there was no altering of any receipt. This receipt had already been deemed valid after being submitted for a rebate that was paid two days before Ibotta claimed that this receipt had been altered. After receiving an email from Ibotta to notify me that my account had been deactivated, discovering the activity logs for the last 51/2 months were deleted, and most of the money in my account was gone I have sent six emails that have repeatedly been ignored. So I don't expect any resolution because Ibotta will never respond. Ibotta is a fraudulent company. Ibotta is strictly a Web based company that will steal your money, defraud you and will be able to get away with it because they are a strictly Web based company. Unfortunately they are getting away with scamming and stealing from people who download and use their app. To avoid being scammed and robbed NEVER use Ibotta. If you want to get paid when you shop for groceries, apparel, pet food, etc shop around . There are legitimate sites that will pay you when you purchase various items. Never use Ibotta.
