ICS Merrill EMSI Awful terrible company that takes advantage of it's Investigators web, Florida

 Im currently an Investigator here at ICS and have only a quick comment reference all the posts I've seen in the past about this company. I have worked for other companys and have spoke with Investigators from other companys and will agree that a lot of the things said here are true. But from what I hear it is no where near as bad as other companys out there, so if you think the grass is greener on the other side then its seems very simple to me, "Quit" and try your luck somewhere else.

No company is perfect, and neither is this one, they have their faults, but they all in all are still a great company.  Im not a manager, just a field investigator.  The reason you get all these negative comments from everyone is because chances are they were not good at their job, got caught at home or somewhere else when they were supposed to be on a case, or they didnt fully understand what this job entails before they got hired, and quickly got tired of it.  This industry is not for everyone.  Yes you have to provide your own equipment, but so do carpenters, electricians, mechanics and many other trades.  If you dont have the right tools for the job, then what makes you more valuable then the next person.  As far as the report writing goes, its all about using your time wisely, if your on a case then it would make sense to type you report as you go along during the day, so your not bringing everything home with you.  I have been in this field for sometime now and there is no reason anyone should be getting frustrated with this type of work unless you dont know how to do your job. 

Lets stop complaining about every little thing, and find ways to rectify the situation.  Instead of bad mouthing a good company that does their best to treat all their employees fairly, find a solution to your grievence.  There are good and bad case managers, I am aware of this.  If you had a bad one, then you need to move up the chain of command and have whatever problems you are seeing addressed by the next person in charge.  I can tell you by experience that the managment staff here all the way up to Merriman, is extremely approachable. 

I was curious has anyone else dealt with this company. I resigned from this company some time back but they claim I was terminated. You know what the funny thing is, is I never received anything stating my employment was terminated. How can you terminate someone and never tell them. This company is full of lies and is headed for a lawsuit.

Anyone else leave this company? I was curious if anyone can produce a termination letter from this company? They claim they dont produce termination letter but I think they are blowing a bunch of smoke!
